nice hotel that offers a good breakfast, and free drinks at the bar around 5:30 for adults. Nice rooms easily can fit a family of 6. The breakfast has bacon on the buffet with nice omelet chef. You also have to pay for parking $12 a night which kind of sucks.

We stayed one night with our grandkids, ages 9 and 10. They loved the property, and slept very well. The breakfast was very good. So convenient to stay close to KCI Airport.

We like the courtyard, the reception, and the breakfast. We love the water features in the courtyard. The location is very convenient. The pool was clean and very nice. The hotel and the room was quiet. We hated that management added a 10 dollar parking fee for a hotel OUTSIDE the city that has ample parking space and a free shuttle to the airport. That discriminates against car owners. We were really annoyed by this surcharge that we did not have the last time we stayed at the same hotel. This money grabbing add on started our stay on a negative note. Usually we do not stay at hotels with this surcharge (unless it is in the middle of the city where parking space is limited). We are considering not returning the next time we visit Kansas City. The rooms could use an occasional deep cleaning. There was dust around the edges and close/below furniture and my kid found two coins and a white t-shirt from a previous guest. Our room was also not leveled but the sleeping area was inclined (we stayed two floors above the pool, maybe this was a reason?). We have stayed in other rooms of the hotel before, so we know that this is not a general problem.

I wish I picked a different week to stay at this hotel. There was a football tournament being celebrated which meant there were a lot of kids.. everywhere. They were playing football in the building blocking walk ways and we’re running throughout the building which just took down the quality stay of this building overall. The lobby was super loud and chaotic and the kids were constantly up and down elevators which resulted in 5-7 minute waits trying to go up or down the elevators, so we just took the stairs. I tried the pool but what was expected was expected. It felt as if I was at a daycare rather paying for a stay at a hotel. I looked forward to the pool as well as the hot tub which I couldn't locate. Other than that breakfast was amazing and staff service was as well.

The staff is incredibly nice which made up for the very dated hotel. The “pillow top” beds were definitely very old and need to be replaced. The pull out couch is not useable for an adult. It’s one of the worse spring mattresses I have ever sat on. My young kids slept on it fine. The bathroom is dated and did have lots of mildew/mold like a previous review said. And there is NO hot tub which they don’t claim to but a few pictures show one. The pool area felt nice like a sauna in the winter but the water is way too cold for me. Overall, this hotel was fine. We’d probably even stay again because of the convenience, breakfast, happy hour and the excellent staff. But know it definitely is not a new hotel and the rooms all need updating.

Hotel seemed run down. Pillows not comfortable. Pull out bed was about the worst we have ever had to have our kids sleep on. Had to wait 15-20 minutes to check in. Long line and only one staff member. Though she was very nice and helpful. No housekeeping staff on duty so we had to go down to get extra towels and linens for the pull out. There were only 3 towels and our reservation was for 6 people. Breakfast was alright. The cut fruit wasn’t fresh. Omelette bar was good.
