Holiday Inn Express Clinton, an IHG Hotel

The facilities were fine but not nice enough for the price. We were put in a room next to a big party of people who were up slamming doors and yelling/ partying in the hall outside our room until after midnight. We had kids with us and had an impossible time sleeping. We received a phone call after 11, but I didn’t get to it fast enough since I was trying to sleep! One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

Room had a few broken things, electrical outlets, charge ports, bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close properly. Booked a room for 6 (4 kids) didn’t have sheets or pillows or sheets for the sofa sleeper or enough towels to bathe at night. Breakfast was mediocre but they ran out of coffee both mornings. It wasn’t a bad stay, but not what we’re accustomed to with a holiday inn express.

Covenient to dining, interstate and shopping. Appreciate the nice, quiet area outside Jackson. The breakfast setup wasn't bad at all. Good food options and the cook staff was present to make sure our dining needs were met and was very friendly. The suite we had was spacious enough for my family. Would stay here again!

Hotel is definitely no frills. I had to go to front desk for remote for TV, towels were not soft, bath tub didn't drain from showering, toilet is made for children size people.

The lady at the front desk was rude, unhelpful, more interested in whatever was happening on her phone than her job. There was never a smile and everything she needed was “what she felt like” not any type of policy. We thought it was just us but it became a joke with all the guests we met. She belongs in a positions she does not meet the public.four hours after checking in she was still on the phone with a personal call to help me get towels or give directions. Our room keys would only open a door once before it stopped working so my advice would be to get about ten room keys if you want to leave your room. The rest of the hotel was nice, breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel was clean and the other staff seemed to take care of things.
