Hilton Garden Inn Jackson/Clinton

Ok so this was my first time wanting to stay at a hilton for a good experience In everything turns out I was completely upset the first hour after check in. The room I booked had damage on the bath tub, the interior mirror inside the bathroom, a light switch that didn’t turn on anything in the coffee location, damage on the inside of the closet drawers however, the first thing I did was check the tv to see if it was in working condition because I had read multiple reviews of them trying to charge individuals for non functional televisions and, I also checked for the towels, I noticed I had two bath towels in the room but I checked in with three people so I called the front desk and asked for a extra towel I was told to go get it from house keeping not to mention, I know nothing about the area or this hotel so I had to hunt the house keeper down after they moved me rooms to accommodate the damage in the first place. This hotel is to expensive for this kind of experience it is a complete upset to deal with stuff like this traveling with family to different states I will never stay at the Hilton again this was my first and last time. I will be holiday inn, laquinta inn, or Hampton inn bound for the rest of my life Hilton is a absolute mess and if corporate management is smart they would set a training program up and teach these employees what customer service really is!

We liked the pool access and drinks available at the desk. The hotel is ok for stays but there are key things to note that we didn't like. The staff seemed ok, we didn't have any concerns but nothing stood out that was worthy of comment good or bad. The two primary dislikes were the breakfast was not free and our door was broken in the bathroom. The door was a large sliding 200lbs door that could break a foot if it fell on it. It shouldn't have been available to guests, it was unsafe esp. for kids.

In Jackson for a family reunion. Hotel was clean and staff was good.

My family and I made an emergency reservation for two nights due to sudden water damage at our home on Memorial Day weekend. The night we checked in I asked if they had complimentary breakfast the night clerk said "yes" from 6:30a-10a...That following morning my husband and I were on our way to work and stopped at the breakfast area and the lady working the Hot breakfast area told us no breakfast is free...not even cereal/milk or fruit...we had to put everything back with a great deal of DISAPPOINTMENT. For the money we paid to stay for two nights...and no breakfast....we would've stayed elsewhere to enjoy the entire stay. Otherwise....all was well.
