Staybridge Suites Flowood Nw Jackson, an IHG Hotel

We first walked in the room we noticed an odor from the room, but couldn’t figure out what it was. Kids wanted to go to the pool, so we headed straight there. The pool was pretty cold. As soon as my kids got out of the pool they were slipping everywhere. The tile around the pool was EXTREMLY slick. My wife is 27 weeks pregnant and I told her to absolutely not walk across that tile because it would be way too dangerous. I slipped going to get towels for her to walk across to get out of the pool area. When we got back to the room we needed to take a shower and again the tub slick! My son slipped as soon as he got in the tub and hit his head. I again had to put a towel down for them not to slip. My son was on the floor looking for his ball and he found animal poop behind the tv! The smell then made sense. I called front desk they said we could switch, but since the youngest was asleep so we told them for them to know to clean it. They ended up charging us the pet fee of $75! Unbelievable

Great room for a big family. The little kitchenette was well stocked. Very good lightening for make up and putting in contacts in the bathroom.

The property was very accommodating for my family. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Not in an amazing location, but everything felt safe. Overall we were pleased.
