InterContinental Minneapolis - St. Paul Airport, an IHG Hotel

Not where we expected. Snuggled next to airport. The easy tsa entrance is closed. No pool. But we were in Mpls for college graduation and to visit family and friends so central location was good. Expensive parking. Friendly staff.

5 star hotel with closed bar on Saturday evening. Denied request for microwave in the room to heat food for toddlers. Not friendly front desk staff

Beautiful hotel! Love how clean it was. Kid friendly and they brought in a nice crib for my baby to use. Only con was that we called the front desk to get the cafe hours (they said it closed at 9:45pm) we went down at 8:30pm and the cafe staff said the were closed. :(

My family and I stayed here the night before an early morning flight. In short, it was pointless to pay the extra money to stay “at the airport”. First, the is no airport access directly from the hotel. Second, we made a 4AM “reservation” for the shuttle. We arrived in time to depart only to watch it drive off. We were told that the shuttle was first come, first served. The staff seemed to care less both that morning and at dinner the night before. I suggest you stay at one of the countless properties nearby and save a $100 or more by doing so.

Cleaninless was the only thing that was excellent staff was ok not really welcoming ,no breakfast included not really accessible hotel to get to,wouldn’t recommend to families.

Beautiful, clean rooms with lovely personable and professional staff. I would love to return with our family. The king suite was quiet and private.

If my stay involved just a good nights sleep, this property would have received 5 stars! There was comfortable bedding, a clean bathroom and quiet (even while having a room overlooking the airport). Where the hotel fell short was the dining and airport transportation where I felt like the service was not 5 star hotel service. At the restaurant, the dining staff knew the menu and were able to make recommendations. There was miscommunication behind the scenes in who was waiting on our table caused some delays and uncomfortable vibes. For the airport transfer, I had a flight at 6:30 am at terminal 2. I informed the front desk at check in, “signed up” for the transfer and came down minutes before the transfer was set to depart. There was no organization once the car arrived. Everyone was fighting to get on the transfer and it appeared that if you made a reservation to get on, it was not taken into account. Then the transfer only dropped us off at terminal 1. Had there been proper communication at check in that this was the case, I would have allowed myself more time to take the train (that runs every 20 minutes) to terminal 2. The driver didn’t offer to explain directions how to get there either so with this being my first time at MSP, I was anxious I would miss my flight. I am a well traveled solo traveler and can’t imagine what this experience would have been like for a family or international guest.

It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in before out of all my travels. The bathroom was large and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and refer my friends and family.
