Hyatt Place Minneapolis Airport-South

Clean, friendly staff. Room was perfect for my family for a quick stay but I can see that we will be comfortable for a weekend if we needed to stay again

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay. We got a double bed suite with sofa and we made it work. The kids loved the pool and daily breakfast. The hotel was clean, smelled nice and the staff was friendly. Thank you Hyatt!!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk. Exterior and lobby very modern and pretty. Our room, however was disgusting. Upon entering, I went into the bathroom to find dark hairs all over the bathtub and floor. While helping my 5 year old wash her hair that evening (there was no way I was giving her a bath), I reached for a coffee mug to rinse her hair with and noticed it had old coffee in it. The mug next to it was also dirty. We brushed it off and got new mugs delivered shortly after. That evening as we were getting into bed, we noticed the duvet was full of black/brown stains. We looked closer in the light (we have a duvet at home and the feathers often clump together and cast a shadow) however these stains were predominantly along the hemline of the pockets..not feathers. This was our last straw. The young man at the front desk treated us very respectfully and had us move to another room while he swapped out the bedding (at this point it was very late with two young kids in tow). When he returned, he said his mother worked in housekeeping and he had “called her to show her on FaceTime”. I don’t feel this could be assessed accurately via FaceTime. Regardless, for $200 a night, this hotel did not meet our expectations. The hotel said they would refund us but instead sent us 10,000 points that could be redeemed as a free night at any Hyatt hotel. Over a week later and still no word on our refund - Would much rather a refund over spending another night grossed out.

Check in went fast. The staff was very friendly. Glad there were no microwaves in the room, we went to the breakfast area and did all our cooking. 4 young boys would have ruined the carpets. We got a large room 2 beds and a pull out couch. It was so spacious. The pool is deep! I liked the fact there was not a separate bar room, so we could enjoy our drinks while the kids played board games. When we checked out the kids each received a bag of Skittles! They didn't want to leave. Thank you very much.

The room was clean. Good size for my family. This is the 3rd time we staying here. Very convenient because is close to the places we visit. The housekeepers are very friendly. The staff also. The only complaints that u have is before the park was included with the booking. Now you have to pay for that. I don't like hotel's that do that. Kinda greedy. But the hotel itself is very nice.

Love the staff! Jenny took care of me and my daughter and my grandchildren. She was so helpful. Such a bright person. She made us feel so welcome.

One of my favorite places to stay with my family. Best breakfast ever!

My daughter woke up with what appeared to be a tic on her back after complaining of itching. Her mom looked at her back before scratching and noticed what looked like a tic. After making my kids shower we discovered another one in the bathroom. Upon checking out we informed the staff and they told us they would contact room service to look into it and have it cleaned. I didn’t expect anything for the experience but the lack of what seemed to be caring bothered me. Just a “we’ll look into it” didn’t sit well with me. Other than that the property was properly maintained and close to everything.

I had a great comfortable stay at the Hyatt Place with my family. The breakfast was amazing! The pool was a great amenity for the children! And the rooms were very nice and comfortable for our entire group.

Excellent service. Was nice to havetghe shuttle drivers that take you to / from the airport, Mall of America and restataunts close by. All three of them were friendly and helpful. Staff was friendly and room was clean and tended daily. Sofabed was nice to have the third bed / kids each had their own bed. Decent breakfast and pool. Only complaint was not enough hot water and low pressure in the shower and often had to go into the back of the toilet tank to get it to refill. Located close to the airport and mall. Woukd definitely stay again.
