Quality Inn & Suites

The pool was murky and the kids didn’t want to use it even with the water slide, which was why i booked this hotel. I liked that the pool room was accessible from the second and first floor, but we didn’t use it because of the cloudy water. The room seemed very damp and the air conditioner could hardly keep up with the heat. The A/C was not dehumidifying at all. We did not ask for a different room, so it may have been an isolated problem. The building exterior was set up like a motel, but the interior had hallways where you enter the rooms from inside the building. It was nicely decorated and the elevator worked well. However, the side door did not lock as it should have which compromised our sense of security. The continental breakfast was abundantly stocked with many options, and it had a waffle and pancake station as well. The breakfast room was charming with plants growing outside the windows and a balcony to look out onto. The staff was friendly and helpful.

When we first checked in, the lady at the front desk was nice and it was a quick process. Upon entering the room it smelled like old smoke to me, but my wife thought it just smelled like a stale old building. It wasn’t a big deal because you got usto it shortly. I went to use the bathroom and noticed that the bathroom door wouldn’t latch shut. Not a big deal but with small children it is nice. I wasn’t able to flush the toilet. So I pulled the back off the toilet and repositioned the flapper so the toilet didn’t run constantly and for the 2 day stay had to fix the toilet every time we used it. My wife pulled a towel off the towel rack and the rack came apart and fell on her foot and hurt her foot. I went and let the front desk know. I didn’t raise a fuss or get mean with them just let them know and they said the manager would get ahold of me and one the housekeepers would look at the toilet. A housekeeper looked at the toilet but it never got fixed. The pool never had any towels and before we left our final day, my daughter asked to go swimming again so I took her down to swim before we packed. They had the pool locked up during their pool hours with no explanation. The whole reason why we picked this hotel was so the kids could swim.

Had a great stay...the kids had so much fun

The office was dirty, Screen door was bent in half in our room and the outside door had such a gap wouldn't lock. Every time kids wanted waterslide had to go outside to the office. After asking for a different room they wanted 250 cash deposit Mexicans were coming in to use the bathroom in pool area

AC went out second night at about 10 pm, woke up and stuff in fridge was warm, but worst of all was the water slide / pool was absolutely disgusting! Was it yellow water or pee? We stayed waaaay away from that thing. One will never know, so disappointing for the kids.
