Hotel was a little “tired” as far as the facility but the real problem came with the hotel staff, it all started at check-in. The guy checking me in was very short and a little snooty to say the least, not really anything specific just a little rude, not warm and welcoming at all. The next issue came with the hotel bar where the bartender was very, very rude when my wife and I were ordering drinks. Lastly one morning when I was working in the lobby I was using a conference room to do some computer work done. I went into this room because it was noisy in the lobby and I had some calls to make. The door was unlocked and open all the way. The sign on the door said conference and has no mention of being reserved or off-limits. I left my laptop in this room to step out to the restroom. When I returned the door was closed and locked with my computer inside. I went to the desk to ask them to unlock the room and the woman immediacy began scolding me for using the room without permission. I told her there was no sign on the door and it was wide open. She continued to treat me like a child that had knowingly broken a rule. Another lady at the front desk then got involved and walked me to the room. At this point as she was unlocking the door she too began talking down to me like I was knowingly breaking some rule. I explained to her if the room was reserved if off-limits they should have a sign or simply lock the door! She then said there is a sign, but she couldn’t show me! Stay away!

Very noisy hotel with kids running up and down the hallways starting at 7am in the morning. Parking late at night coming back was almost none to be had. Our keys kept not working for the doors. Staff was friendly except the overnight guy as he wouldn't open the back door for us since our keys quit working again. He made us walk all the way around to the front of the hotel carrying a sleeping 4 year old and made a 7 year old walk too. The hotel drains in the sink and showers barely drained at all. Little disappointed at least to say overall.

Everything was wonderful, except for the service. There was an African convention taking place in which children were running around. I think it made the staff a bit on edge. I am a black woman, but not associated with the event. However, communication was rude, curt, and sarcastic at times. I was ignored when I had a request and waited long periods of time before addressed. I wanted to grab a drink and/ or muffin late one night to add it to my room tab. I was rudely told, “you can’t have it until 5 am.”
