Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington - MPLS Arpt Area W, an IHG Hotel

Love the location, across the street from Marshall's and half mile from another great shopping area with food options. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast options were great especially the choice of turkey sausage whuch allowed me to enjoy meat for breakfast. The bed was amazingly comfortable, wish the pillows were a bit firmer. No noise heard from others even though I saw quite a few kids in the lobby you wouldn't be able to tell they were there if you had not seen them in lobby for breakfast or at pool. I would most definitely stay here again. The staff were pleasant and went above and beyond.

POOL IS CLOSED! there is no notification they send out that the pool is closed! We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying for 1 because the pool was close and the hotel wanted guest to "go across the street" to a different hotel just to go swimming. (The other hotel is gross and dirty rude staff) the staff here were friendly but theres almost nothing to do late at night for little ones, if the pool is closed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Asked for room service the first of the 2 days we stayed there was told we weren’t a priority due to them having a block of rooms sold! Need new towels due to one of my young children throwing up was told didn’t have enough for me due to the block of rooms!

Tanner and Luis went above and beyond to care for our family. Thank you doesn’t begin to express our gratitude. Highly recommend this hotel and its staff.

The room I was staying in had big spider web and also used band aid on the bed, made me and my family uncomfortable. Towels had another person's hair too.

We stayed in the king suite for 5 nights - we picked it because there was a room and living space for our baby to nap in the room and we had freedom to eat, watch tv, and hangout in the living area. The front desk was great, house keeping did not come once during our stay even though we requested it twice, and the breakfast every day was great!

Better than average breakfast. Liked the option of suite rooms for a family of 6

I'm surprised about the 8.4 rating for this hotel, maybe I expected too much. The carpets have a smell in general, the bathrooms need some maintenance. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, which we couldn't use for 2 nights, one of them because there was too much chlorine in the water, the second one because it was too crowded and people were not behaving at all, some people were in the pool with their clothes on, some adults were disrespectfully kissing in front of the kids, there were no towles available, honestly it didn't look like a family hotel. Breakfast was ok, but on the first morning we had to wait quite a while for certain items to be served, I think the hotel was too busy and teh staff seemed unprepared for it. Thankfully we had a good rest, beds were comfortable, initially we wanted to move to a different room because of the smell in the carpet, but then we decided to stay there because the beds were comfortable and we had no issues with the air conditioning or tv, so we didn't want to complicate things. The location is great and parking was not a problem at all, internet was ok.

Would definitely stay again. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The room was larger than expected. The pull out sofa was your standard older couch so my kids didn't open it just slept on it as a couch but said it was comfortable. The breakfast was better then described and super tasty.

Stayed for 4 days and everything was great..I am satisfied with what I paid for.. I was able to drink my morning coffee in the patio outside which is relaxing. My kids love the warm pool. Breakfast was awesome. I’ll book here again.
