La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Detroit Utica

We came in town for a family funeral. The property was filthy. Walking in, it smelled like pot. The check in was fine. Elevator was filthy. Hallway smelled. Our room's air conditioner didn't work so it was hot. Room did not have any hand soap to even wash our hands. Hair in the shower. The hotel was so dirty that we didn't even want to stay for breakfast in the morning. Walked downstairs and smelled burnt coffee. Never again...

The property was perfect for my family

Day we were there, it was too many kids jumping all hours of the night. Try to put families on one area so not to bothers without kids. The room and sheets did not smell clean at all. It's like the beds were just made and sheets not changed.

The front desk young lady was so nice when I checked in. There was a really cute note on my bed, thank you so much! I ran out to a nearby restaurant and came back to start my night of relaxation away from home & my children.

Booked this hotel 6 months ago. On arrival the guy at the front desk said the maid didn’t show up so all the rooms were dirty. We said we didn’t care had a long drive just wanted to go to bed He refused to give us any room. I asked him to show us a dirty room and still refused. He had refused a lot of clients that night. So I got thinking why would u lose thousands of dollars and piss clients off. So in around about way I learned they overbooked so they overbooked the hotel and screwed the clients who booked way ahead of time. No email, no phone call, just refused us. Asked for management but they didn’t response. It was thanksgiving day. Now they have lost two families in future sales. will along with the other people they denied. Never book at the Quinta again. What kind of management leave people stranded? Terrible terrible

Well for starters we stay there with my family and my young children. There was a naked man running up sand down hallway completely naked I have picture proof. Called front desk multiple times snd for no response.

Our entire family was staying at this hotel, total of 7 rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor. It was discovered in each of our rooms around the window and the AC/heating unit, there was black mold. One of the rooms had so much black mold, it smelled really bad as soon as you walked in. The front desk would not do anything nor give a refund. On of our rooms had dirt in the sheets so they were not changed by room service since the last guest.

I stayed here a week...and staff and Services were excellent....i will stay here again and give my recommendations to my family and friends

1. We requested our room to be cleaned and sheets to replaced as per manager who did not want to share her name. We came back around 7 pm and the room is as is. Garbage one basket emptied and the other one. Towels sees to just folded the same and out in the rack we can feel the humidity. When I asked the front desk operator, he confirmed that my room number was in the list to be cleaned completely. He added I will put a note and they no cleaning staff all gone. It sounded the the 4 floor Inn was ran with one man. Unbelievably dirty and I guests comfort has no respect to them at all. 2. Blankets are all ripped and cotton stuffing coming out. 3. Air condition making roaring sound 4. Drawers slides out open by itself. Mentioned to them but not word to offer to send anyone to fix. 4. Toilet plugs and overflow easily. 5. Breakfast is one person show. Coffee containers empty and few selections of food items but it was the better part in the whole place 6. Fridge-anything you add to it, you find it frozen rock 7. 4 families stayed in the in, all said they never come back and will never recommend it at all. I rate the place 00000 stars in every service they think they provide

We just stayed here for 5 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was very good. We were on the 3rd floor facing the express way and it still was quiet and restful. The staff there all were very polite and helpful. I will definitely stay there again when we visit friends and family again.
