Super 8 by Wyndham Sault Ste. Marie

Very friendly staff. They were able to recommend a great family owned Mexican restaurant next door and were courteous and helpful when we were trying to decide on our breakfast choices. Very firm mattress so some people may not like that. We would definitely stay here again.

We love staying here when we're in Sault ste Marie Michigan. We come to visit family and bring our two little dogs. Hotel is very fancy for a Super 8. It even has a sauna! Very clean, very friendly desk staff, and excellent breakfast. We will keep staying here on future trips for sure. A special shout out to Stephanie for holding out room this last time because we arrived so late, thank you!

We stayed at the Super 8 for graduation weekend- we had the king suit which was perfect for our 18 m twins. Budget friendly. Lots of room- and the in room kitchen was very helpful with small children. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is in a great location...set back from the main highway--the rooms are a little small but very well laid out..the bathroom is huge. The next time we stay, I will make sure to ask for a room with queen beds; we had standard full and we are not used to such small beds. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and were close to 2 great family type restaurants...Studebakers is great with a nice bar; across the street is a 50's type restaurant right out of Happy Days with food like you remember and prices that are way too low for the amount of food you get! Both restaurants highly recommended (we asked the desk clerks where they like to eat and went based on their recommendations). The staff at the hotel attended to every request with courtesy. The indoor pool area is wonderful--with showers and restrooms and large pool and huge hottub...great place to stay for a few days.

You can tell that this hotel has undergone some recent removations. They have done a great job so far but still have a ways to go. I used the pool & hot tub which were clean & comfrotable. However, I noticed that the the walls in the pool area look TERRIBLE. The base of every wall is buckling and bowing. Also, they had regular style outlets in that area instead of GFCI outlets, which is unsafe. The front desk clerk informed me that they were still planning to work on that area, but the safety of that spot was quite concerning to me. I would not take small children that are prone to sticking their fingers in the outlets. Other than that, I am sure that they would not allow anyone in there if the structure was unsafe. It just needs a serious facelift. The room was very clean and i really liked the style of the triangle tub with the seat. this is also right beside WalMart and less than 5 minutes from the Locks. i would stay again.
