Holiday Inn Express & Suites Port Huron, an IHG Hotel

Very friendly man at check in. I had requested not the ground floor and had called the hotel to ask about that. I mentioned to the girl that the last time we stayed there we had a view of the bridge which the grandkids loved so she made sure we had a room with a great view. Internet didn’t work the greatest

This is a fresh, friendly hotel. From check in to check out the staff were pleasant and eager to help. When we first arrived we were given a room. When we went into our room and was looking into going out for dinner we realized that the adjoining room had a small child in it - now don’t get me wrong we don’t mind children but we were not wanting have kids around. Neal the manager quickly looked into changing our room to a quieter area of the hotel- and we were so thankful after a long day in the car. The rooms were bright and welcoming. The pool was a bit warmer then I would like but it was a nice place to get some exercise. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Check out was a breeze . We will keep this place in mind on our next trip through Michigan.

Nice stay, clean and the breakfast was quite good. Only downside for us was the large number of baseball teams staying at the same time, and kids running through the halls yelling. Not the fault of the staff or hotel, but did detract from our stay.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was for hockey state finals and we found the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Naturally there was a little noise from all the kids but we expected that. We would stay again.

Friendly staff, clean, my kids like the heated indoor pool. It's a small hotel and it's set back a bit off the road so it's kind of a secret little spot- which I like.

Room design is really well thought out at Express, right down to the little shelf in the shower to put your foot up on. But at an affordable price point you get things like a family of little ones running unsupervised up and down the hall at 11:30 at night. Good luck getting to sleep!

Hospitality was fantastic and the amenities were terrific for a family with kids. Photos don’t do it justice! Lovely outdoor space overlooking the water. Pool water was so warm we could have swam all day! Excellent breakfast (minus all the styrofoam). Would happily stay again!
