The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills - a DoubleTree by Hilton

This hotel was fabulous! We were in town for a wedding in Birmingham and this hotel was perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub were a big perk for traveling with two young children. The room was clean snd comfortable, and the staff was amazingly helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent and we enjoyed many meals there. Definitely would stay here again!

Very clean and perfect for family

Asked for connecting rooms with family got connecting room with strangers , asked for room change was advised no rooms available, the room was not even on the same level as my relatives and we got the older room and the relatives got the newer style room.

Room on first floor on pool where we had to listen to many children being noisy all day until 10:45 at night. We are senior couple in town to visit friends and didn’t appreciate being given room on pool - no ability to change as hotel full.

From the moment we walked through the front door, the Kingsley wowed my family. The hotel was spotless, the decor was glamorous, and every single employee recognized us and said hello. I’ve never felt so content at a hotel. Bonus: the restaurants are amazing and just as clean and friendly. I highly recommend!

A nicely decorated up scale hotel that used to be the Kingsley Inn. Now is DoubleTree. Front desk personnel less than cordial when asked about directions to hotel. The Ki gdley we site says it is “ Permanently closed.” You were asked if you want a cookie but otherwise not very family family friendly. Also not truly handicap accessible. While grab bars by toilet are helpful. Countertop area in bathroom is extremely small. Lots of grab bars around the tub if a person is able to get into a tub. Pictures should show the type of bathroom available for handicappers. No towel bars at all in the bathroom so the towels are stacked on the back of the toilet making that inconvenient. Overall somewhat disappointed.

Excellent hotel. We travel nearly every weekend for our children’s sporting events and this one definitely one of our favorites!
