My family and I have always enjoyed staying in any Hampton’s hotel. They always have awesome friendly staffs who are willing to assist their customers. Keep up the good work!

Wished the pool was heated or kept warmer. The kids were looking forward to swimming but couldn’t because it was too chilly

They are currently remodeling but the GM was very nice and gave our kids cookies and chips.

The hotel room was brand new since they are in the middle of renovations. The front desk people were friendly. My only complaint is that no where did it say the pool was shut down. We had the option of using a neighboring hotel pool, but when it’s cold and late making my kids go outside with wet hair wasn’t something I was will to do. I knew the breakfast would be cold food boxes due to the website giving up the heads up. But NO WHERE did it say the pool was closed

The hotel itself was fine. I was very disappointed in the breakfast situation, though. As lame as it sounds, we always try to book our family stays somewhere with a good continental breakfast. My 4 year old gets so excited to go downstairs for breakfast. Nowhere on the website did it mention that the breakfast was closed for renovations and we’d be getting boxed breakfast. We didn’t find out until check in. Covid box style breakfast and not even a toaster for the bagels

This hotel was not very nice. We specifically looked for a hotel with Continental breakfast since we have three kids and the breakfast was under construction. They had breakfast boxes which consisted of a boiled egg and stale bagel. When I asked if the hotel would do anything to compensate for the lack of breakfast they refused. They also refused to empty our trash since they said they only clean every other day even though the room had a sticker advertising that if you wanted your room cleaned they would do that if requested. The room had a view of two dumpsters because of the construction. The room itself definitely needs an upgrade the carpet looks nasty. I would suggest staying at one of the other hotels in the area. The staff did not care that their accomodations were not great and did nothing to make this subpar stay any better.

Hotel A/C did not work well, was in for a lacrosse tournament and when you come back to a room that is almost as muggy as outside does not make sleep great. Pool was disgusting was green and bottom was slimy. Everything inside was outdated, bathrooms very outdated. Rooms smelled musty when we got in as air was set to 74 so was humid walking in. Breakfast was okay not as good as other Hampton locations we have stayed. Also found odd we had to sign a paper because we were there for a tournament, never down that at any other Hampton (stay multiple times a year at the one in Westfield) and yet other peoples toddlers or babies were crying while my "player" and other child were trying to sleep during the night. We will not be back to this one again.

We stay at the Hampton Inn whenever we are in the Auburn Hills area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The free breakfast is more than you would expect. The tv did not work, it kept freezing up when we were trying to watch it. That is one thing that has been a problem at each of our stays, the tv. My only other complaint is that there is no enforcing of the rules in the pool area. There were teenagers in there unsupervised banging volleyballs everywhere including on people. They splashed so much that the whole floor was a mess and when they left, they left towels everywhere. This isn’t the hotels fault, it’s the parents. However, the hotel should do something to control this otherwise they may lose customers that actually teach their children manners and respect.

I was pleased with the check in. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They had a true service heart. Once checked in, I had to go back to the front desk to check on getting sleeping arrangements for my toddler. The gentleman, Hassan, helped explain why we could not get a roll away, but was very accommodating with getting us a crib/pack n play.

Everything was easiy accessible, everything was pretty clean, staff was super friendly. Wouldve been awesome if they had a hot tub along with the pool. The ladder in the deep end of the pool was broken, so kid slipped off of it. No one was hurt though.
