Staybridge Suites Detroit Novi, an IHG Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here! The whole hotel was awesome! The pool and spa are great along with the beautiful hang out area that has grills and a cool fire pit! The rooms are like mini apartments and have everything you need for a trip! It was reasonably priced and all staff members that I encountered were very helpful and friendly! I'll definitely be staying there again when I go back to visit family!

Great place for our family to be comfortable during our trip to Michigan. With the basketball court, the pool, the wonderful breakfast, and the room situation, we had all we needed and more. We will stay here again.

I have so many thoughts on this stay. It wasn’t the worst hotel I ever stayed at but it definitely not be one I come back too. The couch in our room was so gross! We luckily found an extra blanket and covered it so we could sit on it. We reserved a suite for our daughters birthday. We found crayon on the walls, the lamps had shorts in them which didn’t make a mother feel so good. We could hear everything our neighbors did, which made us aware they could also hear us. I travel for work and I have never ever experienced such thin walls. The hotel is being remodeled and that was very inconvenient for parking. The pool is too cold and the hot tub had a painful amount of chlorine. Another couple were at the pool the same time as us, and they had the same issue. We all looked like we’re stoners. There was so much chlorine, it was in the air and hurting our eyes. There were no towels and I had to walk outside to get some from the front desk. When I contacted hotels .com they had very little to resolve except to change rooms or cancel my reservation all together. We had the room decorated special for our daughters 12th birthday, that would have meant trashing decor and relocating our whole family of 4! I’m not saying I was a refund but offering anything, even a free night in the future. We wanted to do the breakfast but being that today is a holiday I had the times mixed up and it’s over at 9:30. I will add the women was not kind to me or my young son about that fact when we came.

My husband and I couldn't use the hot tub because there were children at least all under 6 years old playing in the hot tub and no one was watching them or even telling them to get out. We had to switch rooms because there was a large family who basically took over the entire 3rd floor where our first room was. This was our first stay here and we will not be back.

Very nice hotel and pet friendly. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen area is perfect for a family. It was also nice and quiet.

Easy access, nice large rooms ! A little noisy in the hall ways with kids running around at late hours.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was nice and clean. The kitchen area had everything we needed and then some. The beds were soft and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very nice. My children and I loved staying here.

The room was booked in desperation during a storm where we had power go out, power company indicated that it would take another 48 hours - and with a baby, having no power and water was not going to be safe. Thankfully, we got our power back within an hour of making my reservation. Aside from working with Expedia, to cancel the reservation, I called the hotel directly - and the staff I spoke to indicated that they understood. She was aware that we were all in the bad storm. She indicated that a waiver could only be provided by her supervisor. Supervisor had no empathy-- still denied my request for cancellation and provide a waiver and reimbursement to make a buck for the hotel. Supervisor -- whoever you are, what comes around goes around. There is karma in this world for people who do not have empathy.
