Holiday Inn Express & Suites Monroe, an IHG Hotel

I wish that there were a section for housekeeping specifically. My family of 6 arrived around 10pm to check into the 3 bed king suite. The front desk woman gave us our keys to head on up and found an extremely trashed room. She offered us a smaller room but we were unable to fit in that room for the night, hence the reason I booked the 3 bed suite. She was the only worker in the building to my knowledge and promptly went up and spent over an hour cleaning the room so that we could have a clean room that evening. The ladies who worked that evening were amazing but extremely disappointed with how the beginning of our stay started. Breakfast was pretty good the next morning with many options to choose from. I am hoping that there will be some type of compensation back for the inconvenience but I guess we will see what happens.

Slept horribly tried to get more pillows the first night no answer at front desk. Second night I did get pillows but didn't help children running back and forth all night of the hours above our room didn't get any rest will not stay again

Weekend home to visit family. Hotel was extremely comfortable, stain on carpet was only eye sore / issue but we’re used to messes with our young boys. Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was amazing: keep it up! The breakfast staff ladies were super nice and complimentary of our young boys. Would definitely recommend this place for any type of stay.

We had a great stay. The room was perfect size for us. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we’re back in the area

This was one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. Our room was clean, free coffee in the lobby, beds were comfortable, TVs were as nice as our home TVs. The staff is extremely friendly. Especially the young man in housekeeping. We woke up too late to take advantage of breakfast, so I cannot speak about that. The pool was clean, warm, and an abundant of towels. The pool probably should have a little less chlorine. My kids coughed and my eyes burned. It was clean though! Would definitely stay here again when we are back to visit family.

Staff was ok, but not real friendly. The blinds in our rooms did not function so no sunlight was allowed in. The safe also did not function. Other than a few minor complaints the room was perfect for our family of six (2 queen beds, a pullout sofa and a second room with a king bed and privacy from the kiddos). Breakfast was better last time we stayed but I do not expect much for a free hotel breakfast. We will definitely stay again but I did have some complaints.

I parked my rental car out front of the hotel. The window was smashed and the they took the GPS and Radio. Seems no one heard or saw anything. Happened before a couple weeks ago, no security, no cameras. The best they could do is give me points. I spent a couple hours dealing with the situation The staff was nice but should COMP my room at the least. Was told because it was Expedia they could not do that. I have had the worst day today and it really messed up visiting my family. SO SAD and So UPSET. I am not asking for much just a little help. I have to pay the rental car company and insurance rates are going up. NOT MY FAULT CAR WAS PARKED AND LOCKED!!

Needed a place to stay with 3 beds while attending a family funeral. Booked 2 queen w/rollaway. When I called to confirm that the room would have the rollaway and we would be late arrival, the check and clerk notified me that she had upgraded us to a room that had a separate suite area with a sleeper sofa. She made ia very sad trip into one that was very comfortable. The room was spectacular; incredibly clean; and the beds were fantastic! Would highly recommend. Will definitely stay again the one in the area
