Tru by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport

Senior staff at check in very unfriendly and uncooperative. Treated junior staff poorly, even as he tried to be helpful. Asked to see manager and he would not come out to meet with me. Night was terrible with constant thumping noisse, making sleep impossible. I have been a Hilton user for decades, but never a Tru, and will never use again.

During my travels I stayed at 2 hotels within a few days. The Tru by Hilton hotel was by far the best. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! From the moment you walk in through the door they greet you and offer help, suggestions and they're always in a positive mood. Also the overall amenities and look and feel of the hotel is so great! The designs are very nice and the ambience is amazing. I love their furniture and style! When you walk in you have several areas to sit and relax or spend time with family and friends and they have a variety of seating furniture that all looks different and stylish from one another.They have a pool table and area where you can sit down and play board games, they have drawers full of them! The entire hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and coffee available all throughout the day. I loved my entire stay here.

Great clean updated hotel. Easy to get to, friendly staff, Ice machines and recycling containers everywhere which was very cool. The only complaint I have was the beds were rock hard. I guess I’m finally old enough to have a bothered back, hard to get a good nights sleep on vacation with all of that back pain. Otherwise, perfect for our little family getaway. I’d probably return.

Great location and amenities. Very clean and quiet. The kids loved the pool!

On the 1st floor, headlights shining into our window in the middle of the night. Came for the pool for our kids, had maybe an hour and a half in it. Went back later and it was closed, still closed the next morning and when talking to staff i found out a kid puked in it and it couldn't be taken care of until Monday. Quiet hours 10p didn't seem to be enforced due to hearing kids running and jumping down the hall above us until at least 10:50pm. Laminate floors make the room colder and noises above us more pronounced.
