Hyatt Place Boston/Medford

Things were going well until someone tried to enter our room while I was at the pool with 2 of my children while my wife and son were in the room. This took awhile to figure out. The room also had a weird musty smell. The breakfast attendant was a superstar and friendly. If they could replicate her the service industry can be saved

Very nice place to stay with your family. Good service, clean rooms, renovated pool. Close to the highway.

When I get to the hotel they tell me that I have to pay 15 USD per night for parking, I had to pay 30 USD for parking for two nights. As for the room, the first thing is that it does not have a microwave, the sink is in the room and the bathroom is very small, it does not have enough towels for each person in the room, the customer service is more or less good . I do not recommend that hotel to go with your family.

We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place- Medford. The room is great for our family of 5 and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my first trip to Boston and the staff took time with my family to give some good tips.

The Staff made this a 5 star rating. The front desk-Mike and Breakfast-Ramona went above and beyond Everyday to make this stay for me and my family enjoyable. Mike asked me everyday how our stay was and if there was anything he could do to help. He got us toilet paper when we ran low, he got me quarters for the washing machines, he recommended places for us to eat, early check in, etc. He is a young guy but always professional and helpful. We will definitely stay here again because of Mike and Ramona. Coming from Hawaii our Jetlag was bad and they made us feel at home. Great work!

Came to the area for a birthday weekend for my toddler. The location was ideal for reasonable access to Boston for day adventures. I loved that the parking garage was heated and small with easy access to the elevators for easy unloading and no need to go through the lobby. There’s no stair access to the parking garage that we could find and only one of the elevators was working, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. Parking is $15 per night but comes out of the incidental fee you pay at check in. They provided us with a pack ‘n play upon request, as well as extra bedding/pillows for the pull-out couch and without asking put us in a bigger room to accommodate the crib/kids. The breakfast was actually very good, lots of options and friendly staff, it did get busy after 8am so seating can be limited. My husband and son used the gym facilities and definitely approved. The pool was relatively clean and well heated. My one complaint was that the pool was closed Saturday evening and all Sunday. There was a sign stating it would reopen Sunday but it never did. There was an incident I guess that caused them to need to clean, so when we brought it up to guest services they made it right which was greatly appreciated. Overall the hotel has a bit of wear and tear but was decent for a weekend getaway outside of Boston for the price point.

The front desk person, Cole, was friendly and professional. The location convenient and I appreciated the underground parking garage. The room smelled like smoke and the duvet was not clean. There were bags of trash, cups, cans baby strollers, and linens in the hallway on the fifth floor.

There was cockroaches in the room. I had a baby with me so I felt very uncomfortable. Took pictures.
