Sonesta Select Boston Danvers

Took a small trip with my grandkids.During the night, the air-conditioning kept changing from hot and cold. I let the front desk know in the morning. I spoke with Tarnasia. She said that she could not help me with a refund.Because I had rented through a third party. She told me to contact expedia and when they contacted her she would grant a refund. I let hotels.com know. They contacted the hotel and the same person lied about everything that she told me. She said that there was no issue and that she never said anything about a refund. How do employees get away with lying on customers? I will record all conversations from now on. So upsetting and frustrating to report to the correct person that should be able to help you. It was such a nice place. The rooms were tiny but the pool was beautiful. Such a shame to treat your customers like this.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, excellent location, convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is my hotel of choice when visiting family in the area.

Convenient for business travelers but not for family. Although my stay included breakfast it wasn’t really what I expected.

The room was very cramped when we piled out the sofa. I had asked for a crib but wasn’t given one. The location was good and the staff was friendly. I do wish they at least emptied the trash daily. When traveling with a toddler it’s hard to have a small trash can for 3 days and change diapers.

The Sonesta is my go to place to stay when visiting family in the area. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable

I frequently stay at Sonesta, Danvers, MA when visiting family. Hotel is conveniently located, clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

We have family in the area and have stayed at this hotel many times. It’s clean and the staff is great. However, there is some deferred maintenance starting to show. Also the coffee/snack area is closed which surprised us. All in we’ll stay there again but the owners need to take care of some issues before they get worse.

Good place to sleep one night, would not stay longer. The front desk was guarding the Starbucks coffee yet the creamer and sugar were placed in a completely different area. Lounge area freezing cold and un-inviting. All shampoo bottles and shower gel were never refilled. They didn’t have enough towels in the room. The room was dirty, I think we were shoved in after the last guest left because there was food on the floor. The area to buy any coffee or anything to eat was closed promptly at their closing time and guests can’t get anything. Definitely don’t recommend for a family at all. Very cheap.

Stayed here many times while visiting family. Always clean, quiet, great place to stay. Recommend highly.
