Hampton Inn Salem Boston

Hotel was great, but the pool was unappealing to my kids. It was small and the water was greenish, so they didn’t want to swim. Service was great, rooms were well designed (with things like hooks to hang up pajamas or jackets). None of this “we won’t clean your room because we’re trying to save the waterways” baloney. Easy to park and very walkable.

Wow! What a terrible night- they did not advertise that there was a dance club beneath our room. Did we want to sleep? We sure did, long day with family at a memorial. Did we get any rest or peace? Absolutely not, well not much until LATE night. And at 10 pm the children next door came over for a visit not knowing there was a connection to our rooms. My guess was they were up too having dance music keep them awake. Never again . The price of one night was a bit bit then to add to the no sleep? Yuck. We did fall to the front desk to see if we could possibly change rooms- but they were all sold out. If you are looking for a rave- you found your place. If you are looking for some sleep, try another.

The front desk personnel it was awesome and full of knowledge. The housekeeper forgot to left coffee every day so I went out for the coffee she should paid more attention to details like coffee or if there is tissue paper in the bathroom. Overall my family enjoy the stay its located in a good place and easy to walk all salem

I wouldn’t even rate it one star The landlord came and demanded $320 because we had more than 4 people there Then I had to call the cops because a guy tried breaking in with me and my children inside The neighborhood is the worst in Salem The house across the street was shot up 17 times and the police told me the crime rate on that street is very high that house should t be allowed to rent out BEWARE do your research I called the landlord to get my money back for the night we didn’t stay because of the attempted break in and he won’t call back On top of what Travelocity charged he came and charged more and I couldn’t even stay the entire time and had to pay to go to a hotel for the safety of my children

My family and I spent 4 nights at Hampton Inn Salem. We love the location. It is walkable to all the restaurants, museums, and attractions. The room is of decent size. On site parking is expensive. Parking on the ground level is for valet. Self park is on the 2nd level around the hotel toward the end of the building. There is no elevator on the 2nd level of the parking garage, only stairs. We felt safe to leave our car in the garage for all the days we were there. Walgreens, Starbucks, banks, and many wonderful restaurants just a few steps way from the hotel. We would stay here again.

Typical Hampton Inn stay. Beds were uncomfortable and the noise level loud, we could hear kids on the floor below yelling and jumping on beds. Heating system also very loud keeping us up at night.

Love this hotel! We stayed here for the second time in a row and was not disappointed! Was really impressed with the hotel being pet friendly being that Salem is pet friendly as well. Clean, staff is happy and helpful. My family and are I will definitely be coming again
