I had a prior booking through a third party that was non refundable. Upon checking into the Envoy I explained to the gentleman working the front desk of my family emergency. He went above and beyond to speak with a live person from the third party booking and was able to have my canceled reservation refunded. This is not only an act of kindness, this is truly first class customer service. Thank you to all.

I decided to stay at the Envoy as it was the new kid on the block and I had previously stayed at all the other Seaport area hotels. Location is decent and will shine once all of the construction in this up and coming area is completed. We had a beautiful deluxe room that had a full water view of Boston. Room was very nice and I loved that we could stream Netflix and other apps right on our TV. TV itself was not positioned properly for view from bed and was very dark. It was wired tied close to the wall and could not be moved. The settings were locked down so I could not adjust the brightness. Call to front desk about it never got addressed. We had requested a mini fridge in our room upon reservation so that my fiancee could refrigerate her medicine. When we checked in, I was assured that it was already in our room. It was not. A call to the front desk told me that it was on its way up. After an hour, still no fridge. I inquired at the front desk again in person and was told it would be brought up immediately. After returning from dinner, I was stopped in the lobby to tell me that they did not have any fridges. This really upset me and they offered to bring me ice. Great, medicine needed to be refrigerated, not frozen. I inquired again the next morning at the front desk. The manager sent up a fridge quickly. I am not sure why this did not happen the night before? This made my fiancee happy again. Elevator situation to roof top deck is ridiculous.
