Very nice hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Pool was a bit of a weird setup but the kids still had fun. The beds were small and we expected queens but I'm sure we just missed that it was two doubles in the room description. The room was clean and the coffee was appreciated . Not much included everything is extra breakfast lunch dinner and even the internet you have to pay for. I've read a lot of complaints about the resort fee of $30 a day which we used and we're told that we would be reimbursed and had to pay in full when we used it out of our own pocket so I guess we'll have to keep an eye on the credit card for that credit. Overall I would recommend staying here and hopefully my review doesn't sound like I'm complaining I was just trying to give our experience.

We love our family stays at the Renaissance in Boston. Our 1st trip my daughter turned 10 and we came in to stay in the seaport. I mentioned it at the front desk. We not only got the room with a view but a knock at the door with a huge tray of cookies, candy, choc. milk and juice. We were so impressed! This time she's 21 and went to a concert with her little sister and myself. We will be back.

I would have given the staff a better review but i put my name in for breakfast and we waiting like 40 min and a family of 4 was taken before my party of 3 and we continued to wait another 15 min before we called it and left the hotel, i value my time and i wish i could get that 55 min back

The lady who checked us in at 1:30am was so kind. She could tell we had a rough night and offered for us to check out at 1 pm because it was so late and I had children with me.

Great location and friendly staff (Abdi was amazingly helpful checking me in after a stressful flight- thank you!) Room was very clean. Walls are very thin- I could hear my neighbors to the side talking (normal conversation level) and a baby crying on the other side. Remedied by sleeping with the TV on but a heads up if you’re a light sleeper to bring plugs.

1) The hotel charged a $29.13 destination fee per night that was not disclosed to me. I paid $349.56 as I had 2 rooms for 6 nights. This was not disclosed by hotels.com or the hotel staff at check in 2) The tv rarely worked correctly. I was only able to use it about 25% of the time. It kept losing signal repeatedly. The staff was no help. 3) Housekeeping walked in on my wife half clothed with no warning and with the do not disturb sign clearly on the door. They also entered my kids room without knocking. 4) My son left his wallet with $400 in the lobby on a bench while waiting on an uber(I know, his fault and I am not considering this in my rating) but the staff would not review cameras which are directly above that area or help whatsoever with recovery. Makes me very suspicious. Their lack of concern was unacceptable.
