We booked a x2 double bed room for family trip with 2 adults and 2 kids for new year. We arrived pretty late flying in from uk. There were no rooms with our bed needs available when we tried to check in - no fear above and beyond in the service sept - swapped for x2 interconnecting kings with common/ state house view- comp bre fast buffet for 4 people for each of our 4 night stays and comp destination fee.

Quiet, easy check in, stayed on New Year’s Eve and was greeted with champagne. Room was even upgraded for free to a junior suite. Definitely will come back again in the future - very friendly staff and clean room.

Overall very clean. Customer service was good. My only conplaint would be the parking and how much they charge and that it is more business friendly than family friendly. No pool either.

This is our third stay at this hotel while our soon is attending College in Boston. Our only beef with this room was very little closet space: the hangup area was about 15" wide (no kidding). The room could easily have accommodated another 24-36" of hang-up space without substantially altering the floor plan. Don't get it. =E=

Great location + friendly staff. That's all we ask for on our family vacations. We showed up pretty early (9am), so our room wasn't ready but they held our bags and we started exploring. They texted me a couple of hours later when our room was ready. Breakfast was pretty good with nice fresh omelet station. We also got complimentary Clam Chowder... nice touch! Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the Massachusetts State House. PLENTY of attractions within walking distance as well as food options. Also there's two Metro stations nearby.

No frills hotel expected more since the Hyatt regency in nyc is pretty nice. Prices were comparable to Omni and Westin… should have done that or gone cheaper with loft. People were nice, a lot of families, harassed many times by teens outside the entrance and by the parking lot in the early evening and at night. Shower was terrible, this rotating disk delayed they temperature control I was freezing or boiled every other second. Water bottle in the room was 4 dollars. Would not stay again for work (conference) may consider it for family trips. Overall not terrible just a step down for a Hyatt regency.

Clean, bright, elegant rooms. From the spacious countertops, the space-saving “barn door”, the sumptuous breakfast buffet included with our package, this will be our hotel home in Boston. A big shout out to the entire staff for ensuring our entire family had a wonderful stay. A phenomenal value, a phenomenal place. Go Hyatt!

Clean and quiet hotel. Very good breakfast - buffet options were excellent. The location was good for the freedom trail and some of the main sites. Shopping was very close to us for extras. On arrival, our room was not ready. Options to change were not good for us as a family. We had to wait for the room that we had booked. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the pillows were far too thin. We all had back aches each day. We dined in the restaurant for one night. The food was very good again, but the waiter was incredibly annoying. He kept interrupting our conversation, stood staring at us and loudly asking if we were happy. He did this to every guest. Obnoxious. It put us off from trying the restaurant again. Although the hotel was clean and well located, the staff weren’t very friendly or accommodating.
