Have been choosing to stay at Revere since 2020 when my child began at Emerson College, only a block away. It is conveniently located centrally, has a bar, restaurant, rooftop bar and the staff is very helpful.

The toilet handle did not work when I first came to the room. I went down to the front desk, and the most annoying front desk staff person promised me, "I will send a man up right away." I asked if things could be addressed while I was away getting lunch and yes, I was assured it would. I came back from lunch and nothing had changed. I then called down to the front desk, and they said, "I will send a man up right away." Indeed in 5 minutes a wonderfully polite and efficient maintenance man took care of replacing the handle. Give him a raise. He was the only polite person I met in the hotel from Friday until Monday.
The room had clear signs of flooding in the ceiling. The climate control did not work correctly, as when I increased the temperature, the unit would come on then in a few moments the fuse would blow and then the unit would shut off the heat, then the air conditioner would turn on full blast. I did not want to have to speak to the rude front desk staff again, so I left it as is. My room was in 1221, so best get someone to take a look at it.
In fact, your front desk staff need a camera aimed at them during the day so that management can address the poor service and attitude. I stayed from Friday thru Monday, and it was not until Monday morning, when the boss was at the front desk, that he wished me a good morning and a pleasant day. The other 4 junior staff members were surly, silent, and staring at their computer screens.

Stayed with adult children and young grandchild to attend Blue Man Group. Very convenient location in theater district - if it wasn't winter would also be a convenient central location to walk to Prudential, Newbury St, Quincy market, etc. but we were just there for a quick overnight for show and it was cold. The hotel is extremely clean, high-quality, modern. Glenn at the front desk was super friendly, nice, helpful, accomodating and professional! He should be commended. We got adjoining rooms per our request; they were very roomy, comfortable, and had balconies with great skyline and city views. We got drinks at the bar before show, and evening snacks after. If I have any complaints at all, it is that the restaurant/bar staff were not very attentive, and it wasn't like it was busy at all. But the food and drink quality were very good. There are several restaurants nearby; we had dinner at PF Chang's just across the street and up a few doors, and breakfast at Tatte which is always a treat. Highly recommend this hotel, and would love to stay here again in the summer to be able to visit the rooftop lounge and walk around Boston due to its central location.

We enjoyed our stay at Revere Boston Commons. It was easy to park, and conveniently located so we could leave the car parked. We had breakfast there. Not bad, but could use some more choices. The room was clean, and housekeeping came in daily without having to ask. That was great! Lots of families with children which to some is a plus. Not so much for us. Still, for the price, we would consider a return stay.

The hotel is very centrally located and walkable to all the major sites or subway stations. Our family enjoyed the ease of parking in the on-site garage and not worrying about that for the time we stayed. We felt very safe coming and going all hours of the day and night. The elevators were very slow and often there was a line. Housekeeping was not regular and one day as we were in our room during a thunderstorm at 3pm, they wanted to clean which was not an option at that point. The rooftop area is not really for guests but more for patrons of the bar, so I feel that is a bit exaggerated in marketing the hotel. Overall, it was a safe, comfortable place for our family to stay while we visited.

The hotel was family friendly and we loved the close proximity to Boston commons. We ran into a ‘tragedy’ when we lost our son’s lovie and all Staff went above and beyond to help us.

Pros:
Good location. Nice staff members.
Cons:
Disappointing service. Requested a crib and there wasn’t one in the room when we arrived so had to wait quite a while till they brought one up (not easy with a tired toddler). It was such an old squeaky crib that he kept waking up every time he moved so we had a sleepless couple of nights until we got another one (and even that was requested and forgotten about). Parents can appreciate how inconvenient things like this are!
Breakfast service was bad. No one to great and seat you, and when we went at 8am, there was only one guy serving and everything was requested 2 or 3 times before it got done (water, milk etc).
Condition of the room was pretty terrible! I was VERY surprised for a 4 star hotel at $700 a night : stained carpet. Old worn couch. Ripped curtains. Shower tiles stained. It honestly felt like a motel standards.
I guess you get what you pay for. We pretty much paid that price just for the location.
