Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City/Bayfront-Convention Center

Our stay at the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. My family was not a big fan of the salt water pool. The view from our balcony was gorgeous- especially at sunset. My only complaint is the furniture in our room and in the lobby is showing signs of wear, shabby appearance.

Very family-friendly clean very friendly staff the only thing that I didn’t like and I didn’t check so this was my fault. It was accommodating for animals. I didn’t like that part however it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been, but overall satisfied.

I didn’t want to stay at this hotel but my daughter’s teammates wanted to stay here. As soon as you walk into the hotel it smells like stale dogs. Our room smelled like a dog and a dirty carpet. I spray disinfectant spray and air freshener but it didn’t work. The hotel was Completely booked. The inside of the toilet looked disgusting!! It looked like it was never cleaned inside the bowl. Tragic!! The microwave sounded like it was gonna explode whenever we used it. The hotel cleaning ladies and maintenance staff were very nice and polite. My husband went to the front desk and asked for more creamer for his coffee and the front desk employee told him “you do know you can drink the coffee without it right?” He laughed because he thought she was playing but she was serious. Then she told him “oh boy you gonna make me work for my money today”. All because she didn’t want to go to the kitchen to replace it. During the complementary breakfast hotel guest were allowed to bring their dogs in the buffet line. Dogs piss and pet dander were all in the elevator. On the plus side the pool area was really nice along with the corn hole game station. Ocean city is a beautiful place to visit or have a family vacation. I would have to stay somewhere else.

Overall we had a great stay. The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but everything can’t be perfect. Really enjoyed everything but the lounge area was taken over by people drinking and it smelled like a bar. Tried to order dinner for my family and we had to eat in our room. The hotel welcomes children but did not feel comfortable with my 4 year old around drunk people and eating dinner in the main area. Ocean city provides a lot of bars in the area.

Great place to stay with a family! We only stayed 1 night, but it was close to everything in ocean city, they had free breakfast and the pool/spa area was super clean and fun! The only issue we had was when we got to our room the tv wouldn't turn on. The front desk had already TEXTED us to thank us for staying and asked if we had any issues. We told them about the tv and someone from maintenance came up to our room within 5 minutes!!! Would definitely stay here again! Great bay views too!!

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the room was large so it was great for my family to stay. Also, it would be better if you checked the sofa bed mat.

The hotel wasn't as expected i called the day before to get the room availablefor early check-in the employeetook my phone number and said he'll call me once the room is ready but no one did. The room wasn't cleaned at all before check-in, i called the recipien the following morning to inform them at 11am that beds and carpet are full of pets hair amd he promised someone will come and clean it. 5 hours later at 4pm after no one showed up i called again and he said he is busy with check-in's!!!!! What about my check-in that was supposed to be cleaned before i get to the room?? Breakfast was almose the same everyday except small changes on how the eggs were cooked, the only thing was the outdoor pool kids loved it and close to shopping areas.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, breakfast had a nice variety and it was good. The only issue was the heater was broken on the indoor pool. It was just too cold to swim in February. The hot tub worked but the corners of the hot tub had a black dirty build up. We’ve contacted the hotel about the issue but no one has contacted us back. We booked a mini vacation to get away as a family and enjoy some relaxing and swimming but we were unable to swim.

We chose a hotel with indoor hot tub/pool for my husbands birthday. When we got there we were informed the pool heater had been broken for weeks but we were never notified. It was also disgusting. When we went to the hot tub/pool area the room was full of kids with no supervision. Both nights there were kids running and screaming down the hallways and balconies until 1/2am.

There was a youth convention in town and there was about 150 kids staying at the hotel. Both nights there they were running up and down the hallway all night and occasionally banking on doors. Trying to have breakfast with probably 70-100 kids it was total kaos. Therefore we skipped breakfast.
