Dunes Manor Hotel

Well we’ve been trying to cancel since my family came down with Covid and nobody got back to us.. so Hotels.com said don’t cancel so we didn’t and we couldn’t go down so I guess we lost our money. I would like a call back or a reason why.

Check-in: Below average - staff wasn’t welcoming nor pleasant. Straight up “what’s your last name?”, paperwork and here’s your key. Stay: Room was good, ocean view front was awesome. However, both shower and sink drains were clogged. Cleaning staff was nice. Conditioner dispenser was broken, but was replaced upon request. Bought 4 tickets for nearby amusement park (2 tickets first as we were told only adults need tickets. Had to buy 2 more later for kids as we found out kids were also full price.) Even though discounted, each time we were charged a different price even though the front desk person showed me the correct amount in their book. Wasn’t worth arguing over so just left it) Overall: Average stay, but expected more from Hilton. May or may not return to this hotel.

Excellent! Beautiful property on the oceanfront. My family enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

This is the first time my family is traveling with our fur baby, this is the first pet friendly hotel for us so we are a bit anxious. The hotel is very clean, our room is very nice with an oceanfront view and pet friendly, the whole ambience makes us feel relaxed and comfortable even with our fur baby with us, easy access to beach area for an early morning walk, jog or playtime with our pup. We will be back again.

This was such a beautiful hotel and clean! The staff was so friendly including the bellhop who was so kind in helping us with our bags. Some people may be put off by this being a dog friendly hotel, but I loved seeing all of the babies! Ocean City is extremely dog friendly. The only improvements I would recommend is better pillows and linens. The ones in our bedroom were not up to the Hilton standard we are used to. Other than that, we loved our stay!!!

Clean hotel, friendly staff and within walking distance of Jolly Roger Amusement. Would definitely go back with my family. The hotel is beautiful and all rooms are updated.

The hotel was clean and close to the tram at the end of the boardwalk. The housekeeping staff and the valets were helpful and friendly. My husband and I didn't like was the beach surfing policy. Like other guests, my husband and I paid for an umbrella and chairs. We went out to enjoy our first day on the beach, playing in the ocean with our Autistic son. The lifeguard was informing the guests that we were on the part of the beach known as surfing beach and our son along with other people in the water had to get out. My husband and I along with other guests complained to the lifeguard, especially that the hotel hadn't informed the guests. We also found out that we couldn't move our chairs and umbrella pass the surfing beach flag because it was a different part of the beach. The young girl that was running the chair service apologized and was going to call someone in the Ocean City government office. As a guest that paid a lot of money for the hotel room until to be told that we couldn't swim in the ocean. When my family and I checked out, I talked with the manager and she told me that even as a hotel on the beach, they aren't notified about where the surfing beach is since it changed daily. When I returned home, I decided to look it up on Ocean City government website and then it led to the site for the Ocean City Beach Patrol that discussed it and where the surfing beach is. We changed hotels to where we could swim in the ocean with no issues.

Hmmm let’s start with the balcony door being broken and my 2 year old being trapped on the balcony ! Then I go to check out and tell them The balcony is broken n the WiFi didn’t work both males at the front desk rolled there eyes right infront of me to there manager. One even said well I’m in tech so it should be working cause my phone works. Like yea probably cause ur near box . They then charged me a smoking fee mean while I had my kids with me !!!!! How the heck is the possible I’m so confused and very upset ! The food sucks . The coffee downstairs is horrible ! The pool is so dirty all over the floor ! It’s freezing in the pool area because they have a huge vent blowing freezing air into the pool area. This was horrible horrible horrible !!!!!!!

It was wonderful views ,location, right on the beach, clean rooms, updated by the Hilton but the prices werent increased to the level a family couldnt afford to enjoy it also. Already planning for next year.
