Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clear Spring , an IHG Hotel

The bathroom tub had a permanent stain with dirty standing water, making it impossible for my family to bathe. I informed the front desk but they never offered to switch my room or fix the problem.

The hotel smelled of body odor and dampness when we walked in. The lobby was not out of the ordinary, so we went up to our room. The elevator had panel edges peeling and wobbled back and forth. When we got to floor 2, we got off the elevator to a damp and urine smell. As we walked down the hall to our room there was a bucket on the floor to catch water dripping from a pipe in the ceiling. Our room was damp and had black mold all over heater/ac unit vents. The floor was dirty and had human hair all around the edges and the sink. I had to wash the floor in the bathroom and entry way myself, to which the towel i used was turned black. The beds were disheveled, made, but not well. My 8 year old could do a better job. We went to swim and the hot tub was green. The pool room floor was slimy where wet from the pool water. The morning staff set out room temp food and looked miserable. Overall i would never go there again, and this is the 2nd holiday inn express ive been disgusted at. This chain used to be our family favorite for trips, now we will avoid them completely. We will use drury inns where possible.

Quick check in. Computer at front desk was down, but signage clear where to check in and lady was very efficient. Finally a hotel that had pool open until 10 so grandkids could swim before bed. Great breakfast

Our room was directly next to the elevator and it was a handicap room which we didn’t need. It was loud every morning with people getting on and off the elevator and one point someone’s child set off a loud alarm

Great for a quick overnight stop with family

Staff was super courteous and helpful. Dining across the street has large meals for great prices. Pool was a bit cold for being indoors but me and my kids still enjoyed it.

The young lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. She gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner. Breakfast staff was excellent. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

This place was an oasis for me on my journey home! I slept so well in that big beautiful bed. The morning breakfast was delicious. I will absolutely return to this hotel in the future and have spread the 'positive word' about it to family and friends.
