Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Hagerstown

Good all but kids running up and down the hallway in the evening.

Enjoyed convenience to family and mall

First time staying at Ramada it with my for my granddaughter birthday on 4 on July with my 2 daughter I invite some of her friends to come swim Shradda at the front told me the other children was allowed to swim, because they weren’t guest I said I will get another room so they can swim she stated that it wasn’t no more rooms available and if they didn’t leave she was going to call the police I then said I was going to cancel my room and proceeded to call another hotel to see if they had a room available and to she if outside guest can come and swim she got all our i’ll started waving her hands all in my face saying that my outside guess need to leave now I didn’t want to the front desk to cancel my reservations. when I was on the phone on the phone with the hotel manager the police came the kids started crying when they saw the police the hotel guests were staring, I was embarrassed, it was a sad day it was the worst Esperance in my life, I feel like I was racially profiled because I was black and Shradda at the Ramada and Hagerstown, Maryland near the underpass It’s very unprofessional And should not be working at a front or hospitality customer service I would never stay anywhere where employee would me disrespect and threaten me in front of my children and have me feel uncomfortable and unsafe

Breakfast was served in the bar area and not good. Powdered eggs. Holiday decor was fine for a bar but inappropriate for a space shared with families for breakfast.

The pool room has seen better days. It could use some sprucing up. Wood ceiling could be power washed and refinished, paint around ceiling could also be cleaned up or repainted with something to deter mold and mildew. Signs on my floor said vending was on 4th and 1st floors, I was on 5th so I went to 4th. Only after I got off the elevator and saw a small sign and I walked a little into the hallway did I realize that it was all being used as some dorm facility for foreign school children and that I would have to go to the 1st floor for vending. It would have been much better for the sign on the 5th floor to be updated or a sign added and 4th temporarily marked as not available or something than the way it is now. Very confusing and disconcerting.

My mother stayed her after coming back to town for a funeral. We didn't have the best start with this property, as I mistakenly had the check in times backwards. I went to the front desk on my first day at approximately noon. The Front Desk receptionist informed me check in wasn't until 3, to which I apologized, but didn't even offer to accomodate or see if there was a room available before then. Not a huge deal, as we were visiting family anyways so we just carried on. The next day, we had to run some errands so we were gone most of the day and the room had not been cleaned and no towels were provided. The front desk receptionist at night mentioned we were supposed to receive house keeping cards, which we did not receive. There's a sign on the front desk that says they only clean the rooms every three days, so be warned in advanced. The following day, someone showed up to clean the room, after we weren't expecting them at all, so clearly a miscommunication overall. Overall, it was a good stay. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The room was just very dated, which we didn't mind. The room service could certainly be improved overall, but not a bad stay regardless.
