Holiday Inn Express And Suites Hagerstown, an IHG Hotel

Good breakfast and coffee (very important to me!), pool was very nice as was the hot tub. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. My family of 6 was very happy in the Queen suite. The “convenience shop” was a little pricey but that’s typical for hotels

We have stayed at this property many times. The rooms are spacious and the kids love the pool. They were doing renovations the last time we stayed so things were quite messy.

The hotel is under construction, and they put me and my family on the floor where the construction is on going. No carpet on the floor screws on the floor, construction bedris on the floor.

Cleaned ,my kids like swimming pool and hot tub! one of the front desk staff don’t explain things we need to know or don’t understand when we checked in.breakfast is not ready when we go eat, we have to wait 15 min!

Hotel is ok, I can see it’s great for children and families but the hotel was very noisy. Requests was not noted. Kind of disappointed! We were also told with regard to pets policies, which I am allergic to dogs and cats, were discriminatory. I wish they would told me about pet policy before they confirmed the booking. Allergy reaction is a very serious concern for hotel guests. Therefore that issue was not taken seriously. I wish they would at least told me the room I was given was thoroughly cleaned after each pet stay, to ensure each hotel guest have no issues. Since I have reaction to pets, I had (skin) itching all night, could not sleep well with children running around as early as 6:30am. Unfortunately this is not what I expected to pay premium price for this kind of service from Holiday Inn. Anyway on checking out, no invoice was given and the receptionist said we would have to deal with Expedia ourselves. Pending charge was over the amount promised which was noted in my visa account. I have never dealt with Expedia before. If the outcome of this issue is not handled satisfactorily, this is the first time and it will be my last time as well of using Expedia !

I’m curious to know the decision making that goes into why a couple would be placed next to a room with children. I expect some kind of noise but not at 1 am in the morning

Swimming pool was a good size, warm and our kids had fun swimming there.

Extremely disappointed as we were traveling with children for 9 hours and wanted a hotel with a hot tub to relax. Nothing stated the hot tub didn’t work online however upon check in we were told the hot tub wasn’t working. This was the second Holiday Inn on our travels that we stopped at, that didn’t have a working hot tub.

This is my choice when I travel to Hagerstown to visit family. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

Excellent overnight stay with my 2 kids on Easter weekend. Hotel was pretty empty, understandably. Convoluted directions in mall area off the freeway. Main reason we stayed here was pool/hot tub, which were fine - used 2 hours on Saturday and one hour on Sunday morning. Staff was super nice. We enjoyed dinner next door at chili’s and breakfast was fine.
