Residence Inn by Marriott Waldorf

I am happy that we were only staying for one night. Pros: the room sizes are big, there is a basketball court on property, the location is great. Cons: the rooms were dated, the rooms were not as clean as they should be, the shower and sink were backed up so the shower was not enjoyable, the shower was not clean before I cleaned it, the lobby floor was very wet from kids coming from the out door pool through the lobby area, and the floors are thin. It seemed like the person above me was moving furniture all night long so i did not get a good night's rest. Neutral: there is an outdoor pool and the hotel does have complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Stay was great after we finally got in our booked room because of being sold out the night before we had to wait an extra hour after check in time. Due to it being sold out my family an I patiently waited.

Our room was ok. Tub didn’t have a stopper in it or enough towels had to call down for those. Breakfast area was a complete disaster local kids were taking all the food and making noise. Trash was everywhere

I reserved a 2 bedroom unit for 3 nights and was completely disappointed. Firstly, Hotels.com did not inform us of the $12 per day parking fee. We found out at check-in. The room and facility smelled liked dogs. Dogs were everywhere during our stay. The pull out couch was disgustingly stained, dirty, lumpy and without linen. My son could not sleep on it. When i told the front desk they apologized and said they were short staffed and could do nothing until the morning. Please see the pictures. In my opinion, this hotels appears to be used as a shelter. My opinion comes from me being a shelter director and from the conversations I had with other clients. The ice maker did not work and required us to get ice from the front desk. Houekeeping cleaned the room but did not sweep or vacuum. They removed our towels and wash cloths but did not have any replacements. We had to wait until the next day to get clean towels. I asked, why remove the towels if you do not have clean replacements? They answered, it is the hotel's policy to change the towels. Please note that this change was done while we were out of the room. The food was awful. I've stayed at other Residence Inns before and enjoyed my stay. This was the worse stay period. I will not stay there again and I warn others to stay at their own risk. You will be disappointed! Hotels.com, you got over on my family and I this time. You should make the star rating a 1.5 and that's being generous.

We checked in on Friday afternnon.The entry way was clean and inviting. The hallway smelled like urine, and you could hear dogs barking. Our room had several stains that looked like vomit on the carpet that looked fresh. I complained because i had toddlers with me, and i didnt want them running around that mess. Nothing was done! I had to ask for towels and clean rags 3 times, and they came 4 hours later because there were non clean. There is a musty odor but they had no air freahener. The bath tub was dirty, there were stains on the bedding. A complete disaster!! My mother didnt want to sit on the couch as it had rips on it and stains. We traveled 8 hours and was exhausted..... felt very uneasy and nasty. Breakfast was basic...

We arrived a couple hours early, and they were so accommodating of our situation even when they totally didn’t have to be. Room was clean, had a little scent to it but not too terrible. Only thing they missed was the little hand lotion u get was empty. (But that’s not something to really be mad about!) Staff we’re mostly friendly and we really felt like we were at home. The front desk staff were great. The rooms were not. The first room assigned was dirty, couch broken and smoke detector hanging from the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We were moved to same type of room, this room a little cleaner with the exception of handprints on the mirror and a full can of garbage under the sink. The front desk retrieved the trash but I couldn’t rest thinking if housekeeping failed to remove trash and clean fingerprints, did they change the sheets? Very unnerving night for my family and I. The manager of the property addressed my concerns the following morning in a very professional and courteous manner. Issuing a full refund.
