I’ve stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn many times. It remains a good stay, but it’s more of a Holiday Inn Express now than it was in the past. Dated, but very clean and has what you want and need. the staff were efficient. There were a lot of families booked this stay and it was quiet and all were well-behaved. Friendly atmosphere. The restaurant and buffet breakfast are no longer worth it in quality and cost, but convenient. So is grub hub. Definitely recommend for a no frills, solid stay in a great location for travelers off the highway, visiting DC or Univ of Maryland, NASA, or the other gov agencies nearby.

Lobby area is way better than the rooms, which were old, tired, smelly, not very clean, and almost devoid of decor. Couch looked like it had skid marks on the cushions in multiple places, and the pull out couch bed was so uncomfortable, I wouldn't put my worst enemy in it. I think this hotel is run by a third party that cuts corners.

The room was warm upon arrival, the refrigerator wasn't turned up on high so it took forever to get cold the first night. The small kitchen sink cold handle was broken upon arrival so had to clean with burning hot water or had to go into the bathrooms and wash out dishes in there. My reservation was for 3 adults' and 3 children and they didn't stock the room with additional towels to accommodate everyone including extra sheets for the roll out bed inside the sofa. I had to call down to ask for additional supplies and staff still missed the additional sheets I requested.

We went here to allow the grandkids to enjoy the pool. They enjoyed the hot tub, but the pool was not heated and too cold to swim in. Additionally, the phones didn't work, and we couldn't connect to the internet. We had a nice breakfast, and the room was very comfortable. Overall, it was a good stay.

My husband and I will never stay at this hotel again and be hesitant to stay at another Hilton Hotel! Thermostat broken, connecting door to another room was bent badly and the dead bolt didn’t work, so they placed a stopper lock in it. It appeared to have a wooden board attached to part of the back of the door. Poop was tiny, unkept and closed at 8 instead of 10! No room service. Could hear adults talking in the room next to ours and children running around and banging. Must be thin walls to hear all we did! When I mentioned everything to front desk, the woman working said, I’ll let them know. No communication from anyone regarding said issues! No offers of apologizes! Lack of customer service and quality! Highly disappointed!!!

Indoor pool was open, but there were about six children in the pool without any adult supervision. I book two room, one for my mother and one for me. Everything went well with my mother’s room. When I went to check into my room it had guest already in the room. Had to go back downstairs for another room. Pretty embarrassing for other guests in the room, myself and the hotel staff.

Very Bad experience for family. Old rooms and not maintained well. Bed and pillows were so bad. Not kids friendly. There were some people drinking alcohol and peeing on the bushes facing car parking when people are walking. Even they urinated in the parked cars. Kids were scary on the lift with drunk people speaking rubbish.very bad experience and please dont go here.

I booked this hotel specifically for the pool and when we get there we are told its under construction. My kids were very upset. I thunk expedia needs to keep up to date with the hotels on the co dition of the pool and other amenities.
