Tru by Hilton Portland Airport Area

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and staff was kind. Room was quiet. Breakfast had a good variety and great choices for children.

Stay was ok. Utilized area down stairs to have coffee and chat with my childhood friend, was mocked by staff because we were catching up and laughing. very unprofessional front staff.

The property was very clean and in a great location. When walking into the hotel it has cozy couches and all day coffee which you don’t always find. The breakfast was great for a free breakfast. Our room was comfy, big tv and I loved the smell of the soap and shower products. Overall it was a great property and stay! I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family!

Hotel was clean and modern. Gym open 24/7 nice selection. Breakfast was a plus especially with the kiddos.

When i arrived at the hotel the young man in the front was very nice. He explained to me pretty much everything I needed to know. I love the fact that they have board games and a pool table and we were able to use the pool next door. When we got to our room it was nice however when my daughter went to go take a shower there was hair on the walls. To me that is gross especially when I'm traveling with my children. To top it all off the towels has imbedded hairs in them which was extremely gross we ended up getting out own towels which I was super angry about with the fear that all towels had that. 3 out of 4 of our towels had hairs in them. The staff is super friendly. I did not like the fact that they give you two small tiny trash cans and with eating food and 3 kids it gets filled up pretty quick and they only come to your room every other day. The breakfast was really good I didn't eat the eggs but they had this turkey sausage which was great the pancakes, oatmeal was excellent. overall i would stay again if i ever came back to Maine. walking distance to the mall, Starbucks, chipotle and cracker barrel.

We had a very disappointing and inconvenient check in. We were supposed to have a 3pm check in and didn't get into our room until after 3:45. We have two small children and had to leave for a wedding at 3:50/55pm to get there on time. We waited in the lobby for an hour as they said the room wasn't ready... they couldn't locate the status of the cleaning person in charge to check... on and on. We saw cleaning people taking smoke breaks out back. The front staff didn't seem to be working hard to get us in and it was really frustrating. We had to use the hotel lobby bathroom to get ourselves changed and ready for a family wedding, again, with two small children. We asked for some compensation but they said they couldn't do anything as we paid through a third party.

Said they had a pool in the website, but it’s actually at the hotel next door. Not convenient wit a 2 and 5 yr old . Maybe if it said pool available nearby, kids disappointed cause it was pouring out and opted not to go

Clean and fresh hotel. Our kids love the soap and shampoo when we stay at a Tru. Great location for all Portland has to offer.

It was modern. There were fun chairs in the lobby that the kids got a kick out of. They had everything we needed. The shelves and the coat racks in the room where very practical and useful. So nice to not be looking for places to put stuff. We had to leave for the airport very early and the front desk person brought out some breakfast items for us.

The young lady at the front desk was so helpful. Super clean,friendly environment ,great free breakfast and the kids loved the pool table!!! I loved the retro vibe ,eco friendly and inviting lobby to hang out in.
