The TV did not work in our room, there were no towels, someone dame into our room @7:40 un announced, we got a late checkout to sleep in , housekeeping hit the door with the door with the vaccume, children running in the hall and slaming doors. I have rested better in my car.

When we arrived at the room that was given someone was in the room, so the clerk assigned us another room which someone was in that one as well. We were finally able to get a room after the third time trying. I was disappointed because we had to split up from our kids and put them on one end of the hallway and we were on the other. We originally had a suite room with two queens and a sofa bed to accommodate our party.

Lady checking in before us was told due to sprinkler mishap they did not have the king suite available for her but could provide her with a king room on the first floor and a king room on the 4th floor at no additional charge. The woman didn’t appear to be comfortable with that so I offered to give her my queen suite in exchange for her 2 kings. She asked her husband and they were grateful. When it was my turn to check in they conveniently had another queen suite available so would not give us the 2 kings. Fine. Pool door didn’t work so had employee let us in with others waiting. No pool towels so us and 2 other families there had to go get some from hotel rooms. Then we’ve eaten and are ready to watch a movie but the TV doesn’t work. We go downstairs to ask if there’s something they can do but unfortunately they confirm it’s broken and then offer us the 2 kings! Go figure! Smh

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Italy checked us in, and was extremely pleasant. Italy recommended a restaurant to us, that was amazing. I don’t have enough time to go into detail about what a wonderful employee Italy is, and how kind and helpful she was for us. Will definitely stay here in the future, it’s the perfect location to LSU. My kids loved the pool, and enjoyed it.

I did not actually get to stay at the property as the room I reserved days before my stay and confirmed the day of my stay by phone was sold before I arrived. I arrived in the evening to a sold out hotel. Due to various events that weekend, the only available rooms were in a not so great motel. Not the best stay with children. Do not recommend Holiday Inn and will never book with one again.

Our stay was great! However, our rooms got messed up when booking. We booked 2 rooms with conjoining doors for the children. Once we got there we were notified that our children were on the 3rd floor while we were on the 4th floor! Wasn’t too happy ! The young man tried to help with the room situation then we still ended up across the hall from the children.. over all good stay except the mess up.

I'm an IHG member and because I booked through a third party, they refused to accept my membership ID. The first room I checked into was filthy (Body hairs in the tub, dirt on the wall of the shower, dried food on the tables, the toilet was not clean, it had stains as well, there were brown water stains on the ceiling from the roof leaking and the room smelled of mold and mildew), so I was moved to 2nd room (no offer for any compensation from the staff for the inconvenience of moving again). The 2nd room had a leaking faucet so anytime I washed my hands or used the sink water was everywhere. The blinds in the room were broken so I couldn't let any sunlight in, the hotel phones in didnt work in either room. The wifi in the hotel only worked for tablets, laptops, or desktops. If you tried to connect through your phone, you were out of luck and the reception was so bad I couldn't even use my own data. It was a total dead spot. The breakfast was just okay, the juice is diluted with so much water it tasted like flavored water. On the last day of (Sunday) they ran out of one of the most popular breakfast items (cinnamon rolls). Multiple guests were asking for them for their children, once again we were just out of luck. During my stay each time I left the hotel and returned to my room, my keys were deactivated, so I had to return back down to the front desk to have them activate my keys again. Upon check out I wasn't asked how my stay was or anything. The staff just didnt care.

Amazing service and room was very comfortable for a family of 6. And free breakfast was a plus.
