Overall the stay was good. Really enjoyed the complementary coffee and tea to enjoy at any time of the day. My family and I would meet to converse right before we headed to bed and drink some coffee/tea. At times one of the elevators spelled like urine, so that was gross. Thats my only complaint.

Room was not ready at 3p class in delayed by 45 minutes. Very loud in lobby due to a family reunion. Ice machine broken on 5th floor. No ice in lobby. This experience was a little frustrating.

Before booking hotel website states parking available which is not true. You have to valet park for an extra fee. Only 2 people working in valet and takes an extremely long time to drop off and pick up vehicle. Stayed on the 7th floor and whole floor reeked of marijuana. I had my kids with me and they asked me what is that smell. Smell was extremely strong. Breakfast is over too early at 9:30.

There was a lot of kids in the hotel due to a gymnastics meet that was across the street, breakfast was not great for kids at all, and with as many kids that were there it should of been adjusted for food they would eat, like plain scrambled eggs, bacon, kids do not eat the type of eggs they serve, they did have a waffle maker and the line to make one was crazy long, because there wasn’t anything else the kids would eat. Parking when we got there was a nightmare, and because of those two things we want ever stay in their New Orleans hotel again, and because of several sports we travel a lot, oh and even with as much money as they charge they don’t even give you a dirty laundry bag, people were asking the housekeepers for a trash bag to put dirty laundry in.

I stayed with my family at this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. Convenient location, close to restaurants, 15 minute drive to the French Quarter, decent breakfast every morning, good gym. Staff was friendly. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrading. There are no actual drawers to store your belongings
. Additionally, my allergies acted up severely during our stay. I mean sneezing constantly and runny nose. Initially, I thought it was due to a new environment. However, on our last night, I discovered mold on the underside of my pillow. Once I left the hotel, I had no issues. Due to the mold, I would not stay again.

I stayed here for my family reunion. The hotel in general is decent. The majority of the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast is okay but the waffles are great and it’s nice to have the breakfast option available especially if you have kids. The best thing about the hotel is they allowed me and my family to have a great time together without policing the noise or how long we could stay in common areas. The banquet rooms were nice and clean so overall a nice stay.

Hallways on our floor seemed like they haven’t been vacuumed in days. Room smelled funky. I did early check in called for extra pillows n blankets for my kids as they’re where tired after an hour I called again, they said they’ll go ahead and send it. After 3 hours of not getting anything called again different person was at front desk told him I’ve called twice already and nothing if I was ever going to get my stuff.. after almost 5 hours total I finally received something that should of been in the room closet to begin with.

The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Our suite was beautiful, unique and exactly what we had booked.
Our accommodations as well as the property were immaculate and the breakfast was wonderful every morning.
About a 15-20 minute walk to Bourbon St or a $10-$15 cab ride which took significantly less time than waiting for valet.
The valet process was quite cluttered during check-in/out and the evenings when people were preparing to go out for the evening but that’s pretty typical for NOLA in general with the older and narrower streets.
The area was quite safe and the park directly across the street was lovely. My kids ran around in the mornings watching tiny lizards dart in and out of the palm trees. We walked every night and felt completely secure.
There are restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance and the building locks down in the evenings requiring a room key to access the building and there was always an employee out front. It’s also incredibly convenient for anyone leaving from the port of NOLA as the cruise terminal is just across the street.
All in all our stay was excellent and not only are we eager to return but we will be recommending your beautiful hotel to absolutely everyone!

Here on orders waiting for a home for our family, booking was through hotels.com we’ve used the past 20+ days for a couple hotels on the way to our destination.
Upon booking we selected the option for parking, pets and children as listed for the type of accommodation that we needed for our hotel stay. When we arrived to the Hampton hotel the valet was confusing as we understood through the booking parking was included, when asking the reception the discrepancy was confusing our major mistake that cost us an extra $500 on top of our “special discount price” through hotels.com.
Our original room was nice but the fridge was rattling and smelled like some type of gas.
When we complained we were told maintenance would come (not sure if they actually did because we were out a lot) the noise was frustrating and made it hard to put a child with special needs to bed at night.
The housekeeping is twice a week and nobody speaks English which made it difficult to ask for simple things like towels or toilet paper.
The beds were sunk in and uncomfortable and the pool was small for the size of hotel which was hit or miss for being full most of the time over the weekend, not to mention the smoking area was there as well so small children had to endure that.
After a second complaint of the fridge we were moved to a different room, which was a lot bigger but not a separate bedroom like we had originally booked with separate sleeping spaces.
Overall will not be back.
