Hilton New Orleans Airport

No hot water. Staff claimed they told us which was false. We wouldn’t stay anywhere with my two small grandchildren! The pool and hot tub dirty. The lobby was completely sparse and under construction. Even the art on the walls were under construction. We are very disappointed. I travelled from alaska and was heading back home without a shower !

We live in Baton Rouge and booked the room for the night because we had a very early flight out of New Orleans. We have 2 young kids and didn’t want to have to leave at 2 am to get to airport. The front desk was very unfriendly. When I tried to make small talk she seemed like I was annoying her. The room I booked on Expedia was for 2 queens, they gave us only one queen. When I called down to discuss she blew me off, blamed it on the fact that we did not book it through them directly. Offered a roll away bed. We said that is fine we understood. Told us it would take 10 minutes to deliver up to the room. 45 minutes later at 11:30 pm with my husband sleeping on the floor with just a pillow and me with my 2 young kids in the bed I decided to call and check where it was. The extremely rude woman at the front desk cut me off mid sentence and Very loudly said “ITS COMING “. I should specify it was only that one particular employee we had the bad experience with. It did arrive shortly after but not worth the $299 convenience of a shuttle for 4 hours of sleep.

The staff was kind and friendly, rooms were great and clean. The kiddos enjoyed their stay… and that’s most important. Parking was convenient and cost nightly. Overall the stay was great!!!

Great hotel with great service and close enough to downtown. I enjoy may stay with my family and relatives
