Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Westbank/Gretna

Everything was Great. I chose to stay here to be close to Carnival Cruise port. Other family members stayed in town. They had to pay outrageous amount to park. I got my parking free, our room was clean, beds were so comfortable. Shower was great & I even sat in the tub. Hadnt done that in years. Good hot water flow & lots of it. I'll be checking out other sites. Look for ys next time in Flordia or i msy even come back to New Orleans. And safe travels to Gatlinburg Tennessee to the Desk Clerk. Come see us up in Nashville

Comfortable stay close to family and near the Crescent City Connection. Quiet, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Loved not being right in the crazy of NOLA. This hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Slept like a baby.

I booked our family of four a double queen room at this hotel a little over a month in advance to stay the night before we took a cruise. I've always thought that Courtyard was a very nice hotel and it was a little cheaper than the others in the immediate area so I chose it. When I went to check in, I was told that they didn't have any more double queen rooms, and they could put me in a king room. I told her that I made the reservation a month prior and we had four people. She said that the room had a pullout sofa so there should be room. She asked if we still wanted to stay there, and I told her that at this time we really didn't have a choice. I was charged $50 for incidentals and shown a list of rules that must be followed (no parties, loud music, etc..) I guess that they get a lot of party people stay there. The pull out sofa was a single bed without sheets, blankets or pillows. We called and asked for these, and were brought 1 sheet and 1 blanket. They said that they were out of pillows. My teenage son slept on the pull out sofa and my daughter slept on the sofa cushion on the floor. In the morning we noticed that we only had 3 towels in the bathroom and asked for another one. We were told that we could not have any more towels unless we turned in the used towels. I had never experienced this before, and definitely did not expect it. We laughed off this experience and went on our cruise. When we sail from New Orleans in the future, we'll definitely pick another hotel.
