Hampton Inn Broussard-Lafayette Area

We travel often because of sports. The manager Jeremy noticed there were a lot of ball teams staying, so he took it upon himself to alter the breakfast times so that the kids with early morning games wouldn’t miss out on a nutritious breakfast. That goes above what is asked of him and it is greatly appreciated!

I booked a month in advanced and the day of my arrival I get a call that their is a water pressure issue on the 4th floor and the issue is being fixed and should be done the next day by 9am. They sent us to the best western for the night we were exhausted so fine we go. In the morning the front desk told me your rates will be adjusted because best western was cheaper than Hampton. I call Hampton and they said well your room won’t be ready until after 11 (clearly someone lied) I get there the manager is super disrespectful and telling me to not give her an attitude because she won’t give me a room at all!! Then tells me to cancel my stay through Expedia so she can give me a different hotel I didn’t do this and decided to wait for a room the next day I requested my room to be serviced and they told me it couldn’t be serviced unless I requested it the day prior (the manager told me it could get serviced whenever I wanted) and I did request it in advanced but they couldn’t find the “note”. The power went out the 3rd day for a couple of hours and according to the staff it happens quite often. our last night the front desk was recording our group in the lobby children included. This hotel was a nightmare I will never book here ever again because of their mistake I didn’t have a full day of hotel and had to keep my luggage in the car and they said my stay didn’t start until 3 pm the day after my booking date on Expedia they are rude disrespectful they refused to reimburse me

One night stay to visit family. Hotel was centrally located for our stay. Kasie was a pleasure at check-in. Breakfast was ok. No complaints.

This Hotel is espectacular, brand new and the staff is amassing! My husband, daughter and I were traveling from Miami in a road trip to Arizona. We stop in Lafayette to spend New Years. As soon as we walk through the door, Sarah welcome us and gave us names of places to eat, things to do with kids and how to get around. After leaving the Hotel (300 miles away) my daughter realise she forgot her Go-Pro camera and her Instant camera in the Hotel. After calling the Hotel and talking to Colleen the manager, she got all my information to call me back in case they find anything. After 24 hours I thought everything was lost but, she call me back and not only did she found everything, she went to the post office and shipped to us. We cannot thank them enough for their attention and service. We definitely come back to this Hotel!!
