Homewood Suites by Hilton Lafayette, LA

Had a great stay, brought 3 grandchildren our room was large enough for all of us. The only thing I would change would the breakfast. It would be nice to have hot pancakes or waffles. My grandchildren and my husband and myself enjoy that for breakfast. Hotel was wonderful and we will be back soon, and will make this our go to hotel in Lafayette La.

Room accommodative for family traveling with children. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options! Was disappointed that after reporting our shower heat was faulty and not spraying water evenly nothing was done had to report again same night and attendant did apologize and offered reward points. I hav not received notification email regarding reward points yet!

Overall great experience. We had the two room suite; two separate rooms and an additional kitchen area. Highly recommend if staying with children. Overall great experience, great location

There was a lot of kids and a long walk to the elevator.

It’s an ok hotel but nothing special or unique about it. A little bit old and might need a slight “refresh”. Area is so-so as well. If you travel with kids you may want to chose a different one.

It’s an older property but everything was very clean and the staff were nothing but wonderful. Made for an excellent holiday week stay with small kids.

Nice place to stay with family

Hey great place people who work there really took care of us. Very clean nice place. Big problem it was a long weekend with a lot of kids and big families taking over the hotel. The staff did the best they could. Just did not feel comfortable with the families that were there

The fire sprinklers went off in the room next door to me. The staff was so slow to respond that it caused water to flood into my room from the hallway and connecting door. I spent my evening using up every towel in my room to mop up and wring out as much water as possible. The 3 employees on duty that night were well aware and did nothing to even attempt to remedy the situation. While I, as well as the many other guests were left with the mess and uncomfortable accommodations, the staff were outside chatting and smoking. Prior to this, my family and I have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time will be the last for us

0/10 TERRIBLE experience. Children were getting dropped off in the parking lot to use the pool. 30-40 unsupervised children in the pool, one was unable to swim and went under and I had to grab her and take her to the side. Trash everywhere around the pool and outdoor area. Brought to the attention of the front desk about both of these things and the response was “what do you expect us to do about it?”. No towels or soap in room. Asked at 8pm for some and never received until we asked again an hour before checking out the next day. LOUD and vulgar music heard all the way down the hallway at 11pm. Front desk ladies clapped their hands in my face and said “we can’t do nothin’ about it, the best thing for you to do is leave now and not come back”. Checking out met FIVE other families with the same complaints and who received terrible attitudes from the employees. Hotels.com refused to do anything about the situation.
