Hampton Inn & Suites Lafayette

This booking was last minute for a family death and it was perfect. The staff was super nice. The room was spacious and clean. The BREAKFAST what a way to start the day!!

I was given no seniors discount! Kids unsupervised in room above us! Made noise 12 to 4 in the morning,loud, I called 4 times and went down stairs! Many people called and next morning at breakfast people complained about noise, running jumping breaking things? I have 10 grand children and we have never left kids unsupervised in a hotel room! I came to get away and I’m worse off than before I came! Very disappointed and won’t use Expedia again ! Was not allowed to receive a receipt either! A first! First time to disappointed in a hotel! My family & I stayed two nights here & it was a really good experience overall. Everyone was polite and nice from the desk staff to the housekeepers. The rooms were comfortable and had a fresh smell. The beds were very comfortable as well. My children enjoyed the added feature of the nightlight in the bathroom & I loved the fact that the door slid open between the bathroom and closet to allow that light to come into the sleeping area. I hate the feeling of a super dark hotel room & this made the room feel super comfortable. The continental breakfast selection was superb & the eating area was super clean! There was an issue with our toilet and maintenance was sent quickly. The issue was fixed quickly as well. Extra towels were also requested & came quickly. The downsides for me are as follows: no microwave in our room & the bathroom floor was sticky and possibly dirty (since my feet showed signs of it when I stepped into the shower). However, I appreciated the refrigerator in the room. Overall, it was a great experience & we will be back if we’re in the area again.

Big room for me and kids. Clean.
