Comfort Suites Prestonsburg West

The walls between room allowed for lots of sound. The people in the room next to us had two small children and I understand about hearing some noise through the walls but when you hear every word in their telephone conversation something is not right. We turned up the TVto not hear them. In the morning the people above us were movning around and we heard all their steps, loud hotel not restful .

The best staff and property around. Very nice indoor pool. The staff even provided floatables and stuff for the kids to play with in the pool. A

The hallways stank really bad like beer and and drunks going up and down the hallways and the beds are so uncomfortable I have to pack my family up at 1:30am to go home are they any way I can get a refund?

It was convenient. They accommodated my family with allowing us a later checkout time. We had a funeral that afternoon. We appreciated the extra time they gave us at no additional charge. Thank You

Breakfast was VERY limited and didn't have adequate amounts of condiments for the items there. Pool was wonderful, very clean and warm. Double beds in suites were small. Overall, our kids had fun, but we will probably go with another local hotel during our next visit.

It easy access to route 23. The were some issues during our stay due to the hotel housing Red Cross victims. The room above, below and next to ours had children in them. They were running, jumping, screaming and a lot of door slamming. Parents cursing at their children and someone was smoking marijuana in the room downstairs from us. The smell was horrible. We got a knock on our door around 1 am from front desk saying someone reported that someone was fighting. The fighting was across the hall from us. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Due to circumstances out of their control they did the best job they could. My prayers are with the flood victims. Next time I will call before booking.
