Hampton Inn & Suites Wilder

Property was under renovation. Room absolutely stunk bathroom counter was moldy bathroom floor floor was sticky tub was gross. Hallways littered with construction equipment and debris. Construction workers were loud and having unappropriate conversations while cussing in front of my child.

This was a great one night stay. I like the room setup. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out. The breakfast was ok but nothing extraordinary.

Hotel was nice but the floors are paper thin. It sounded like there was a heard of elephants above us. Turns out it was just toddlers.

Even though under renovation the property was clean and smelled nice. It would have been nice to have more options or more available for breakfast the coffee was gone in the lobby pretty early and not refilled. The staff was friendly. When booking with 6 children 4 under the age of 5 I do recommend asking for the 1st floor we did have a noise complaint against us but that is expected with toddlers the staff was very friendly and understanding I appreciate that. Overall it was a very nice stay and would book again.

We have stayed in this Hampton Inn before and it has really gone downhill. The lounge/breakfast area furniture is very dirty and makes you not want to sit on it. Also, the breakfast is the same every single day. We were there for a family event and it required a several-day stay and the breakfast did not change - at all! Overall, this hotel is okay and doable but it could be way better.

The Hampton Inn & Suites at Wilder is well off the beaten path. There's no place nearby to walk to, it's auto travel only. That turned out to be fine as we were in the area on family business. The suite was more than adequate - nice sized, 2 queen sized beds, work area, kitchenette, nice bath. The breakfast area was really nice, I was able to connect to wifi and work remotely after breakfast ended at 10am. The breakfast itself was fairly standard, a selection of hot foods (eggs and sausage/bacon), oatmeal and cold cereals, coffee, juice, toast, bagels and so on. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were easily able to get extra towels. There is an indoor pool. We didn't use it on this trip, although it looked inviting enough. Same with the exercise room. I would stay at this location again if we return.

I was held up by construction, I called and made sure my daughter and grandchildren could check in without my being there, no problem. That is good business.

The hotel was nice enough, the room was large enough for 6 of us. The grandkids liked the sofa bed. The staff was friendly and efficient for the most part. Unfortunately for some unknown reason our room wasn't cleaned the second day. Wasn't happy about that. Water in pool is freezing so wasn't as enjoyable.

Check in went smoothly, friendly staff, but... There were bed bugs all over the bed. I always check the beds as soon as I check in to a hotel. This is the first time I've ever seen them. They were literally all over the bed, bedding, and pillows. There's no way the cleaning staff could have missed them. My family and I immediately turned around and went back to the front desk. Again, the lady we spoke with was very nice, helpful, and apologetic. She refunded us immediately. The cleaning staff or anyone else walking in that room should have noticed the bed covered in bugs. Completely unacceptable.
