This hotel was a great option for our family on our vacation! Parking was incredibly convenient, we were close to several restaurants, and it was nice having the little shop inside the hotel for drinks, food, and necessities. Would stay here again!

There was a children’s event nearby and the lobby was crazy with children everywhere yelling and making a mess. There were also children running up and down the halls until after midnight

Stayed for one night with our toddler, in a 1bdrm suite. Appreciated that it was a true suite with the bedroom separated by a door, so we could still hang out and watch tv in the living room after she went down to bed. Were on the 7th floor and still heard a bit of traffic noise but pretty quiet Check-in and out were both quick and the employees pleasant. Rooms were clean, albeit bathroom a bit dated Parking garage on-site was nice, appreciated that there were so many fast food places & restaurants nearby it was so close to Newport on the Levee

Check-in........Walked into room, TV on, Bedding not changed, towels on the floor, bathroom not cleaned. Back downstairs.....new room, walk in, start unpacking, find dirty underwear on the bed. Needless to say, a little uneasy and little confidence in the cleanliness of this property. Manager offered a $50.00 credit on a $750.00 2 night stay. The look on my face must have said something as the clerk immediately said she could do more and took another $50.00 off immediately, and handed me the Managers card and said you could call him later. Honestly, this approach to trying to make it right is a little insulting and unprofessional. "Offer the family $50.00 and if they ask for more, give them another $50.00". Just do the right thing from the beginning and offer a 1-night stay on Marriot. As a Marriot Bonvoy member....what's the point of loyalty. This weekend I am at another Marriot property for 2 nights and if I could change it, I would. Be cautious and careful! Todd

I never would have booked a room at this hotel if I hadn’t seen they had free breakfast. We are traveling with a toddler so spending 15$ on eggs that she will only eat bites of and want something else is not really an option. I just assumed they had free breakfast because the other hotels we have stayed at this past week on our trip were 150/night plus and had free breakfast and this hotel was 170/night. Also the lady at check in was helpful and very seeet, however the rest of the service we received from others made me feel like we were an inconvenience. The trains are right beside the hotel and screech, which didn’t bother us during the day but at night when you’re trying to sleep (with a toddler in your room also trying to sleep) is not helpful. You can hear every word people say in the hall way so I’m sure they can hear you too. An over priced room is what you are paying for.. it’s ridand cheap of them to not give you at least a bagel!

This is probably the dirtiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The bed was barely made, there were stains all over the furniture, and the trash hadn’t been taken out. It was also incredibly noisy with children running the halls. The worst part was that we got a non-smoking room all for our room to reek of smoke. When I asked the staff if they could come get the trash, I received no apology and we had to hunt a housekeeper down ourselves. I am incredibly upset about the amount that we paid to stay here.

I was there at the unexpected death of my brother. 5 rooms of us and families were with you. There were several children. We were able to come together each day in the lobby to share stories and comfort each other at the end of the day. Your lobby was welcoming and could accommodate. Your front desk staff was superb- from making popcorn for my 9 y.o. Niece to helping us in any number of small ways. It could not have been better. And you clean room and refresh towels daily-many hotels do not. Thank you so much

Wish restaurant and bar were open after our long day of driving, but was happy with local food recommendations made by staff. Was clean and up to date. They offered us a microwave for the room to heat items for our young children. We’ll definitely be back.
