The Cambria is very nice with good views and the staff is incredible. They truly bend over backwards to accommodate. The location can very very noisy in the evening. If road/streetlife noise is an issue for you, this may not be for you. Good coffee place and bar. Restaurant is hit and miss on the weekend. Good for families with kids as they have an indoor pool that is shallow. Close to parks and attractions. On-site parking is tricky, but ample very nearby.

This hotel is awesome! I stayed here with my mom and my two children. The room was super clean and very large for a regular hotel room. My boys enjoyed the pool and we ate at the restaurant on floor 2 for dinner one night and also breakfast at the cafe on 1st floor one morning. The cafe was not great, but that’s probably the only negative part of our entire stay. There is a breakfast spot across the street called Wild Eggs which is phenomenal, definitely try this when you stay here. Overall, we loved this hotel!!

Upon checking in, I was told there was a $18 self parking fee per night, even though the listing here shows free parking. After a tense back and forth with the staff, I was told I would not be charged and will keep an eye on my transactions to make sure. The hotel was nice, conveniently located to a lot downtown. For the price, I don’t think it provided much beyond any other 3* hotel beyond location, which some may think is worth the cost. The room was nice, but unfortunately the hotel was extremely loud. There were children running up and down the hallway, a dog constantly barking a few rooms over (despite being a pet free hotel), and partiers that were obnoxiously loud. The pool was packed full with what seemed to be a kids birthday party. We checked 3-4 times to try and swim, each time full. I asked the desk if we could get maybe an hour after it was closed to swim, but she said it was auto locked at 10pm. All in all, it was a fine stay, and I only went here due to proximity to U of L as my father was having surgery. In any other situation, I would have preferred going somewhere else with the same amenities and cheaper price.
