Louisville Marriott Downtown

We came to stay for the weekend to attend a concert and also because it was my husband’s 70th birthday, our arrival was nothing short of wonderful, the check in was so easy, from the vallet to the wonderful bellhop that helped us to our room, we could not have been more pleased! Rooms were immaculate, I would recommend a stay here to all my friends and family.

Great fun weekend family trip. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and nice. Only issue was the heated pool was really cold. It stated it’s a heated indoor pool but not sure about that.

Very cool ambiance in the lobby for gathering and having fun! There is a Starbucks in the lobby too! As well as a really amazing real restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner! We went with football families for a game and we didn’t need to go anywhere else all weekend besides the game and our hotel!

This place was miserable. The nickel and diming at this hotel was insane. Check to see if the elevator is still free before you go because it was the only thing besides a smelly room with a bed on the floor. Stay somewhere else for less money. This was not worth it and should be a 2 star hotel that offers 40$/day parking and a $30 breakfast that makes a motel 6 free breakfast look delightful. I’ll be avoiding the entire Marriot family of hotels after this, by far my worst of 5 hotels on this trip.

Front desk clerks need more training. They don’t listen. When we first arrived I told the clerk don’t run the card I booked with. He said ok. Ran it twice. Totally didn’t even pay attention to what was being said. My friends daughter got stuck in an elevator for over an hour and all they offered the 8yr old child who was traumatized was a scoop of ice cream. Checking out called valet to come get our bags and load car because we had to be at the convention center during check out. No one asked a room number. No one showed up. Called back half hour later. Oh sorry we will send someone right up. Again. Didn’t ask for room number. No one showed up. Had to come down and ask what was going on. Then took another 45 minutes to get the car after calling for it an hour prior. Slow service. Poor listening skills. Pool out of service. Rooms just mediocre. Overall not a great stay and I wouldn’t stay there again. Very disappointing experience.
