Holiday Inn Express & Suites Franklin KY, an IHG Hotel

This property is falling short of what people expect from this brand. Only kids appearing to be 25 or younger working, no towels for pool or rooms, pool/spa was not clean or correct temperatures, ants in the room. Breakfast was pretty good. Glad we just needed it for a place to stay while exploring caves and Corvette museum, but it needs some attention.

Chose hotel for the amenity of a hottub but the hottub no longer functions as a hot tub pool was warmer no jets. Asked staff about it and they said we keep it that way for the kids. So basically its now a kiddie pool. My room deposit still hasn't been released and is been 19 days. Would not stay there again.

Very nice and clean the only down fall was the pool was out of service which disappointed my kids a lot and that was the reason I chose this location with it having an indoor pool

I like the staff. Everyone is friendly and nice and very helpful. Juliana and Bailey at the front desk are super sweet and very professional and nice. This is the 2nd time my family has stayed at this property. Juliana was our front desk person both times and she was a big reason for our second stay because of her professionalism and friendliness. Bailey was her partner this time and they were both very accommodating ,friendly and professional. The 2nd reason for my return is the cleanliness of the entire facility. From pulling into the parking lot, to the lobby, pool area and especially the rooms. Very clean facility. MS. Kim in housekeeping is amazing. She will help you with anything from suggestions for breakfast, lunch or supper to things to do locally. She's all over the place helping everywhere and everyone. 3rd reason for return was the breakfast. It's very good for a hot hotel breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits,pancakes and much more. It's not Cracker Barrel but you can't complain because it tastes good and saves you from having to go to a restaurant and spend more money for an additional meal. Only complaint the hot tub in the pool needs the jets fixed. Everything else is good and priced reasonably. Thi3is my spot to go to when in that area. Thank Y'all very much for everything.

Enjoyed our stay. It's halfway between Indianapolis and Birmingham and the perfect spot for our family to stay and break up our trip. Breakfast was delicious!

I thought I asked for top floor and we did not get that. Sleep was very interrupted due to children above us. It was a noisy stay from above us and the hallway at all hours.

We needed a stop on our way to Nashville, TN, and Franklin, KY, fit the bill. This Holiday Inn Express was very convenient to I-65, and nearby were choices of restaurants. The motel was beautifully decorated, and so modern! The room was spacious, and had pleanty of comfort. Our free breakfast was just about perfect, and the hostess was so friendly and helpful that we felt like we were part of her family. We will remember this place for the next time we travel this route.

One of our rooms smelt of cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in. The carpets were dirty as my kids feet were black by lights out. Our second room was ok just dirty carpet. Bedsheets and towels were fresh and clean. The pool looked very green and dated. Wouldn’t recommend for more than an overnight stay. We were packed and out by 7AM

We did not expect the outstanding quality of this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool and the decor and room cleanliness are what you would expect from a higher end hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
