Fairfield Inn Topeka

Did not have a baby bed available. They were all being used. Light not working on lamp. Breakfast honestly pretty gross. Staff super pleasant and helpful. Overall would stay again.

My stay was good. I was there with my 4 yr old visiting family. Every single staff member was extremely nice and made conversation with us. The man who burnt his toast and set off the fire alarm after being warned not too was a jerk and I’m sorry the staff had to deal with him. He made it out to be a joke and I was angry for the staff. Thank you to the sweet lady in the lobby at breakfast who gave my son crayons and coloring papers. I would definitely stay here again. The room was just an ordinary room with a small fridge and microwave. 2 comfy beds and I felt safe.

Compared to other hotels that we stayed at of a similar value, my kids said this one had the best pool. The building is a little older than some of the other places we stayed and I think the pool was a tiny bit bigger than the ones at newer places. The staff was courteous, especially the woman in charge of putting the breakfast out on the day that we were there. She really fussed over us. The location is near major roads and businesses. This can be a pro-con. Pro is that you are close to the main road when you need to leave. Con is that being next to a big road is not as pleasant as other locations.

When we arrived we were given a goodie bag. offered extra bottles of water. The clerk suggested a wonderful restaurant. The maid and person in the breakfast area were friendly. As we checked out, we were offered more bottles of water and asked if there was anything else they could offer to help us in Topeka. Will stay there again and mention it to friends and family.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past year-and-a-half on our trips from Indiana to Denver and back visiting our daughter and her family. Post-pandemic, we thought the staff was being extra friendly just to bring customers back. However, we have found them ALWAYS to be friendly and helpful. We especially have come to appreciate Tammy who operates the breakfast area. I am sure she has to be there very early every day in order to have everything set up for 6:00 breakfast. She is always cheerful and accommodating to guests--she does a great job and helps brighten our day every morning we are there! She is the main reason we continue to choose this hotel over numerous others in the area!
