Holiday Inn Express Topeka West I-70 Wanamaker, an IHG Hotel

The guy at the desk was very accomodating. There was a big family reunion there and he put us in an area where we wouldn't be disturbed. We had been traveling all day and we were very tired.

Like that is not far away from shopping places. Could us another big rack for luggage. Could add some amenities for kids.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was a disaster on the first night. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds. We had our adult children staying with us. We were attending our son’s KU graduation over the weekend. When we checked in they told us our room had one king size bed and one FOLD OUT COUCH. The hotel was sold out due to graduation weekend, and every other hotel that I would consider staying in was also sold out. The young night manager didn’t try to help us. The next one on duty tried to find us another room. We could not get through to anyone at Hotel.com. I am removing the app and I will not use it again. I had trouble with them the last time we used them and I no longer trust them. Holiday Inn Express was able to get us a different room for the second night of our stay.
