The hotel is set just off the river and centrally located. I travelled here with my 3 young sons (and no husband) and immediately felt safe once we parked in the attached secure parking garage. The hotel is exceptionally clean, which was impressive considering its size. The hotel bar and restaurant were accommodating and delicious! The Starbucks bar was comforting and the snacks were just what we needed! The pool was a bit loud (but kids will be kids) and when it was empty, it was serene. I misplaced an expensive item, and the hotel security went ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectation we had of attempting to recover it. We are usually Hilton guests, but this stay and more specifically the attentiveness of Donnie Watson, have honestly made me a Hyatt guest for life! Great staff, great hotel… it really does matter where you stay! 10/10 recommend this place

From the time we arrived the entire staff was very friendly and informative as to where everything was. My kids really enjoyed it. The food from the restaurant was amazing.

The hotel was packed for a dance competition & we upgraded to a corner room. That said corner room was a conjoined room & the people next to us had loud kids & a baby.

This property was disgusting. After driving for 13 hours to get there we were met with a room that was filthy. The shower curtain had black mold all over it, the sheets were soiled, pullout couch was covered in stains. I kid you not when I say every inch of that room was filthy. We ended up going to target and buying new sheets and cleaning supplies to clean the place ourselves. Hotel management refused to discount our room or move us to another similar sized room. They told us they’d do a deep cleaning the next day, but we still found a dog bone in the corner of the room afterwards. This is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in in the past 10 years.

When we got to the property, there were many children and adults alike in the lobby, making an exceeding amount of noise which started to stay off in the wrong direction. There was no effort by hotel staff to control this. The room that I booked, was not the room that I received and a much lesser accommodation with no reflection in the bill whatsoever. For such an upscale hotel, I expected a far better experience. I will have second thoughts before staying at this chain of hotel again.

It was pretty much your average hotel. I liked that there was a Starbucks even though it wasnt as comparable taste wise nor did they have my usual drink but it was still a nice perk! The swimming area was super hot i couldn't stay longer than an hour before it was unbearable but i also wasnt swimming, my kids and husband didn't seem to have any issues so I'm sure that would have been different had i got in.

This hotel was great! We only stayed one night, but the front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The kids loved the pool. There is a nice coffee shop, restaurant and bar inside the hotel, which was great. We felt totally comfortable during our stay. Thank you for the great service!

We have been here before passing through on the way to see family. Room is nice with comfy bed. Quiet, clean. The bar in the lobby is great, nice staff and good food, good prices. There is a restaurant attached to the bar, same menu. In the lobby is a coffee place with a variety of snacks, and drinks. We had a breakfast sandwich which was very good. There is a large parking lot across the street, that is free. We did valet for 16.00. There is a nice outdoor patio with seating that overlooks the river.

Some big pros and some big cons. Decided to take advantage of valet since i was traveling solo with a toddler and the other parking options are a decent walk. Valet staff were very friendly, but busy also driving the shuttle, etc and not always readily available. Facility was clean as always and being next to the waterwalk is nice. Definitely worth the extra money for a river view. Front desk staff- the morning ladies are very friendly and readily addressed me each morning. The evening ladies acted like they couldn't see me standing at the desk in front of them and seemed put off by checking me in or answering my questions. They honestly seemed like they were hoping the other person would help me, except they both then just ignored me for a few minutes until someone finally gave in. This was really off-putting to me. Basic courtesy to address or greet the guest wasn't there. Coffee shop staff were friendly and quick. Restaurant staff were nice and the food was ok, but for the price there are much better local food options nearby that are significantly better and cheaper. Room doors have a huge gap that let in light and sound so you hear everything in the hallway. I have stayed here before and will stay again, but this isn't my go-to hotel in Wichita.
