We were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk who gave us an overview of the hotel. We were woken up at 8:20 by extremely loud construction noises from within the hotel. It would have been nice to have been told this would be happening. We spend 1-2 nights a year away from our children so the loud wake up call was very unfortunate.

We stayed here about 20 years ago while visiting family. It is a great location next to many bars and restaurants. The hotel decor is very nice. We were happy to see that nothing has changed - other than a tasteful remodeling project that is expected to finish in July 2022. I was glad the receptionist recommended an interior room for our weekend stay. The rooms facing the street are exposed to live music, cars, people talking, etc.
