Best Western Plus Wichita West Airport Inn

It was very clean and quietThere was a lot of High school age kids at the building when we got there.Thought we would hear them but we never did very quiet

Broken elevator caused major inconvenience. Vending machine was out of Gatorade. Had to travel to convience store late at night when family member was ill. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best that we experienced at a Best Western property.

We checked in on Tuesday the 25th. We got into our room and the ac was broken. We had our babies with us so we had to let the front desk know we needed a new room. They moved us to a different room but the room keys wouldn’t work. They programmed the room keys 3 times and they still wouldn’t work. Finally one of the ladies at the front desk came up and used the master and it still wouldn’t open. They had to move us a third time. Which was very inconvenient with a toddler and an infant. Our 3rd room was a good room besides the ac didn’t keep up but was better than the first room. We checked out on the 27th and I checked my debit card I put on file for incidentals and it had been charged $175.12. I had booked the room with Expedia so the room was paid for ahead of time. I had to call the hotel and get a refund for that amount. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I just won’t be returning to this hotel ever again due to the amount of issues we had.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice, the beds were comfortable. The only downside was a guest who didn't put a swim diaper on her non potty trained child closed the pool for our entire stay. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but perhaps making a hard rule about non potty trained children might prevent that in the future.

The staff was very accommodating. The air conditioning was not good in the lobby. The pool was closed which was sad for the kids. The grounds need attention. The breakfast was good with lots of selections. Not for sure if we would stay again.

The air conditioner in the lobby and in the hallways and the breakfast areas were not working. Our family was guessing that it had been broken for quite a while and they just apologized to the guests upon check in. The ladies served a delicious breakfast but they did not have air conditioning in their kitchen either and it has been broken for quite some time. The landscaping looks as it had not been touched since spring. There were stickers and weeds growing everywhere and the pool was not open. We were looking forward to playing in the pool along with our grandkids but they were very disappointed. I think that even though the front desk told us that they are sold out almost every nite - they are investing in guests' comfort. I do not recommend this hotel for future stays.

The hotel was nice and clean. However our room wasn't ready for 45 minutes due to staff shortage we were told but they had rooms read for everyone who seemed wasn't a Hotels.com client. My Husband and my 1 year grandchildren had to wait in the lobby with two other travelers until our room was ready.

We had 3 room for our family. One of the rooms lock malfunctioned.
